After having to drop the tank because the in-tank filters were clogged I modified the fuel system. The in-tank filters were removed and a second fuel pump was added. The second pump now pulls the fuel from the tank and pushes it through two external fuel filters before the fuel is directed into the main line up to the primary fuel pump. I "tried" to save a couple of bucks and went with a less expensive "diesel" rated fuel line, don't make the same mistake. The other fuel line stretched a scary amount and in fact a part of the line burst on my test drive. But, even with a burst fuel line, my engine never complained. Between the two fuel pumps enough fuel was being delivered to keep it running smooth. Didn't know the line had burst until I parked at home and saw the trail of fuel running down the road leading to the puddle under my truck. This fuel line replaced what I had used the next day and the only thing I'm sorry about is that I didn't use it in the first place.
