Most comfortable boots out of the box I've ever had
I bought several pairs of boots for a horse camping trip that I'm going on. I'll update after the trip, but of all the choices, these were the keepers. They have ankle support, a sole that I can hike or ride with (I hope), they're very attractive, and by god I have never worn any boots as immediately comfortable as these. The toe box is really roomy, so unlike a pointed cowboy boot (which I own several pairs of) they don't squeeze my toes or my bunions. They have great arch support. They don't rub my ankles. The first place I wore them was at a bridal bazaar for five hours, to break them in, and they were comfortable the entire time. No breaking-in necessary. I've worn them several times since, and they've got me thinking I should start wearing Ariats at work, because the hiking shoes I wear usually require a few days to break in and these were perfect right out of the box. Of course, everyone's feet are different, but color me impressed!Edit: they worked great on my honeymoon! We did 2-6 hours of riding (Western) each day, and the boots were very comfortable. We did a short hike, and they were ok for that. I think that for real hiking, boots with a lugged sole would be better, but these were not slippery. I also wore them in a fossil-digging quarry. They got all scuffed up, but I put some leather conditioner on them when I got home, and they look nice. A little more broken in. I think these will last me a long time.

My First Pair of Cowboy Boots!! And WOW these are B.E.A.U-tiful!
Ok, let me start by saying these are my first pair of Cowboy Boots and ..... I LOVETHESE BOOTS!!!! BUT the sides of them hurt my ankles, they are very stiff. From the other reviews I have read I think they will break in and get softer. Also the tips of the boots (from toes up) are 2 different colors, (my left foot is much darker than the right) which is understandable since they are leather but these were a really big difference. I didn't want to send them back because I couldn't wait to wear them and after speaking to people who have Cowboy boots I was told they will lighten up and even out. The shoe itself is very comfortable. I did buy a 1/2 size bigger cause I like my boots a little looser. They are perfect around my foot. I LOVE THE COLOR ON THE INSIDE! I would love a boot just like that! Awesome color. The boots are fabulous and I am sure I will love them more everyday I wear them. They are def lighter in color than shown here but they are still beautiful.

A beautiful boot and worth the price
I really like these boots a lot. I generally wear a size 7 and found these a perfect fit in this size. From the box they are a little stiff but even so were very comfortable. Most of my boots are ankle height so it did take a day or so for the height to be good for me but they did not rub excessively and soon felt fine. They are easy to move in and do not feel clunky as some boots do, the weight is good. The tongue is nicely padded and stays in place, it has an elastic component that is a good feature. They look great: the leather is good quality, the stitching is perfect, and the decorative details add a very nice touch. Initially I was undecided between the driftwood and the more polished look of the the darker brown but I am very happy with the choice of driftwood. The laces could be just a tad longer as I find they do not stay tied with a simple bow but if needed this is easily and inexpensively remedied. They seem to be very well made and I expect they will last me for years.

Comfortable boot
These boots are super comfortable and very good for people with wide calves. Only issue is, that after a month of wearing them for work the heals started making popping noises every time I step. Super annoying.

Love my new Ariat Boots!
I ordered my normal shoe size (6.5) and they were a perfect fit. I also have a pair of Frye boots and thought I would only purchase Frye boots until I saw these boots. My new Ariat boots look expensive, are very stylish, and are so comfortable. My Frye boots are great looking boots but much more expensive than my Ariat. Besides the price the one difference between two boots is that the Frye have a leather sole which can be very slippery sometimes and the Ariat have a rubber sole which are not slippery at all. I would recommend the Ariat Heritage Western X Toe boot in Sassy brown and the next time I shop for boots I will look at the Ariat brand first. Amazon shipped my order quickly and they were packed well! The boots look just like the picture - maybe better- and run true to size.

ARIAT boots
Beautiful color. The heel is a little too high for me + I didn’t like the round toe. Looks more like a “Biker Boot” than a Western boot

Great boots!
I ordered a 10 because I have always worn that size. I have recently lost a lot of weight and didn't realise I lost in my feet as well. They fit great in the heel and flat of my foot but are large in the toe box. I kept them instead of returning them thinking I could use thick socks in the winter but I don't think I will be able to. I bought the same size Pumas and had the exact same issues as I lost weight. So to sum things up... I think it would be a perfect fit had I not lost weight. The insole is super nice and they appear to have been made very well.
