My table length is 60”, meaning the mat would overhang 5” on each side. Would this still work or be too annoying?

It would be annoying in my opinion, because the rubber has enough resistance that it wouldn’t just lie down the sides. If you duct taped it underneath the table, it may work.

I just shake it off. The soft feel fabric does tend to collect crumbs and lint. But it’s super easy to clean.
