Q: Should we buy replacement blades or get an knife sharpener?

You can sharpen the blades, but you need to use a round file between every tooth. I took my blades to a sharpening dude who should have known better and he just sharpened them flat (╯°□°）╯︵ ┻━┻ So now my blades are still dull *and* they have no teeth tips. Anybody know where replacement blades are sold?

Q: How easy is this knife to hold the button while slicing? I have a hamilton beach now and as it warms up the on button gets hard to push.It's brand new

QUICK try to return it to the Store and get your money back. If you cannot do that Try getting a replacement from the Hamilton Beach distributor/Manufacturer at 1-800-851-8900.I had a Hamilton Beach Model 742100, SN A3969J, Type EK04. The knife was old and started being difficult to switch on and then quickly quit altogether. I disassembled it and the switch fell out on the bench in small broken plastic parts and one metal "Z" part which was the basic part of the Switch with one end seated inside the button. Based on my experience it is my opinion you are experiencing premature switch failure due to a broken plastic part which is partially blocking the switch button and if it has not failed already it probably will do so.The Cuisinart CEK 40 works well for me but cannot be used on heavy bones or gristle. It has a manual lock on the switch to prevent you from turning it on accidentally when not in use and plugged in. The switch is very easy to use but you have to be very careful not to press the switch when you are holding the knife (with the lock off) and getting ready to slice the ham or roast. The blades are stainless steel and very very sharp and will cut your fingers in a heart beat experience taught me so.

Q: The electric sharpener stop working after I slice one loaf og bread! Why?

An electric sharpener should never be used to cut bread. It should ONLY be used to sharpen blades.

Q: How much power does this knife have (so I can compare it with other electric knives)?

130 watts would be for the charger, not the knife motor. At 130 watts and 3.9 volts (battery voltage), the knife would draw 33 amps! You could ALMOST crank your car!
