These plate holders feel solid, were very easy to install with the included hardware, and look great. They felt a lot sturdier then the flimsy dealer branded plate I replaced which I assume is the difference between these being steel and that one appearing to be aluminum. Plus the color of the frames are a true black that matches the trim on my car and the paint feels nice for those of us care about how something feels. This is a great set at an exceptional price.

Received the item packaged well (Amazon) and in excellent condition. The frames seem sturdy and I like that they are a metal material. Too early to tell if they are rust resistant. Hardware seems appropriate but because the top of the screws aren’t very wide, I used the original bolts/screws that are already on mine to avoid any aggravation during installation. Lol The bottom part of the frame can possibly cover up more of your plate than you would like (seller pic shows top and bottom aren’t equal size). So depending on your state plate wordage it could matter (top height about 1/2 in and bottom about 1 inch). I bought the set to use one for the front of my SUV as well, but it does not fit my 03 4Runner pre-molded bumper holes. I’m assuming that is my model’s variation. The holes did line up good for the back license plate which are approximately 7 inches apart. Installation of plate into frame was easy. My previous license plate frame was plastic and faded so this one looks really nice on it for now.
