Port Of Lancaster Smoked Scottish Salmon Side- Sliced (min 800g- 1kg)

Excellent quality as always. Well packed with 2 ice packs. The 2 x 800 gm smoked salmon sides were both cold, smells fresh & taste great.

This year was the best salmon ever. Tasted how salmon did 30 years ago. Absolutely delicious and great value. Totally recommend as a fancy starter. Freezes well too, if you divide it up and use grease proof paper to layer the portions.

This smoked salmon was really a perfect flavour but I gave 4 stars because my package weighed 686gms including skin but even allowing for the 2 very small pieces consumed whilst repackaging for the freezer I think to state 800gms would be considered generous & for that reason alone unfortunately I won’t be reordering.

This was, without a shadow of a doubt, the best smoked salmon I have ever had. It was luscious and delicate and all others pale in comparison. Whilst, on first glance, it appears to be hideously expensive, I served this on Christmas Eve, at Christmas lunch, for breakfast the day after Boxing Day, as a starter on New Years Eve and finished it off for breakfast on New Years Day. All in all, it gave me about 20 servings. When you look at that, it's actually an amazing bargain!

Dear sirs, Regarding my order of a ½-side of smoked salmon, it was very disappointing. There was very little taste to the salmon, much different to the salmon you sent me last year. It was also an odd orange colour???!!!! I have unpacked the salmon and put selected pieces in the fridge. Sincerely, Hilda Jane Kadri

OK but not worth the price tag

The salmon has been smoked and matures and cut into delicious slices just ready to eat. It is full of beneficial oils, minerals and vitamins.

This was an expensive product and I expected a lot better quality. It compared in taste and texture to a supermarket product at half the price. I have had Loch Fyne Kinglas in the past. It is a similar price but far superior in taste and especially texture.
