An excellent value for money bike
I decided to actually use the bike for a while before reviewing it. I have now done around 60 miles on it and am, so far, very happy with it. The battery seems to be good. I decided to recharge it after 30 miles as I am not 100% sure about the level indicator. I should point out I am very unfit and just on the bike’s rated weight limit so I don’t expect the quoted 80 to 100-mile range! Major issues: None so far. Minor niggles: The front shifter is not the best. I have now replaced it with an indexed 3 speed shifter and am a lot happier with this. With the supplied shifter it was quite easy to pop the chain off the sprocket which, in the wrong place (i.e. a busy road), could be dangerous. Chain was easy enough to pop back on, but still annoying. The layout of items on the handlebars was a little frustrating. I found myself pressing the horn button when trying to shift on the left hand. I have since moved everything around and the horn and light button are now on the right side and rotated away so it’s not so easy to hit the horn. The brakes are good enough as long as you’re not thrashing the bike. They did need adjusted (obviously) and, so far, have stopped me, or slowed me down, on the steepest hills I have encountered. I had considered swapping them for hydraulic brakes but don’t feel this is necessary now. The motor is pretty powerful and helps get my large (6’2” 119Kg), unfit self, up the fairly steep hill to my home without any issues on setting 3. Overall, I am very pleased with this bike. It is exactly what I expected and performs well. It’s construction seems sturdy and, while I have locked off the front suspension for now, is comfortable for me to ride (I don’t do a lot of off roading at the moment!). The colours of the bike are striking and quite eye catching.

Excellent value eBike!
Nice size, even for a short(ish) adult male (5ft 7in). Easy to assemble & well packaged. The battery is heavy but it is quite high capacity, I've only done about 50 miles total over 3 trips and battery not dead yet. I'm looking forward to do some longer trips during Summer to test its range & my capabilities. The included pump is garbage & simply doesn't work but it is a freebie so can't complain too much. Having front & rear lights provides reassurance for short Spring days, the disk brakes seem fine to me & have good stopping power. Levels of assist take the strain away & provide everything I need, it is easy to cycle even with battery assist off however. The rear carrier is sturdy and will take significant weight. There isn't much handlebar real estate left if you deploy all options. I'll remove the USB charger if I need space since it doesn't actually provide enough charge to keep my phone screen on & use the Duotts app when cycling without running my phone battery down. There is only button gear to change up for the rear cog & not for the front but that's fine for me and gives granular control. My view is this is an excellent value bicycle! I couldn't find another at this price point that had such good specs.

Great e-bike. so far, so good!
I've had this bike for about a week now and put a bit over 60 miles on it. Loved it so far. Disclosure: I am not a biker and knew basically nothing about bikes before this purchase. My use case: I'm living in suburbs where a walk to the nearest shops would be 30-40 minutes. I don't have a car here, so I wanted a means of transport faster than walking and more reliable/flexible than public transit. I now use it for my daily commute (~12mi there and back) and getting into town. Assembly: All pieces/tools needed were there. Assembly was easy if you're comfortable with some simple tools. Took about 30 minutes. I used the installation video on the Amazon product web page. Very straightforward. Features: Lots of great things, a few minor cons - Operating modes are great. It's easy to flick between 0-5 levels of pedal assist (PAS) which starts up after you begin pedaling pretty quick, and the throttle is very responsive. Motor is pretty quiet too! All of the buttons are simple and very effective for me so far, and the display is clear and easy to read - The battery life is pretty good I think, though I don't have much to compare to. I haven't tested the limits on flat grounds, but I did a 45 mile trip once with a fair amount of hills being very liberal with the battery usage (lots of PAS 3) and it died just as I hit my destination. Mind you I'm a big dude with a backpack full of stuff, probably totaling right around the 265lb recommended weight limit of the bike, so I'd say that it matches the advertised #s fairly. When it talks much longer distances, I'm imagining it means using PAS 1 on a lot on flat stretches for lighter people. - Battery charging speed is basically as described - Although not fast charging, but it's probably safer that it doesn't charge too quick! With the detachable battery, it's super easy to bike somewhere, bring the battery inside and charge it wherever. Charger also has a LED that shows when its done charging. - Brakes is OK. I'm planning to replace a hydraulic brake in the near future - The wheels and tires seem fine. I stick to roads and bike trails, and while the center line of the back tire seems to have been chewed down a bit quick, it still seems to work fine. - The front wheel suspension is awesome. Makes rides remarkably smooth. - The front light and back light are very bright and work well, very suitable for night riding. - The paint scratches pretty easily it seems. I'm not 100% sure what I've done aside from get scuffed by an occasional tree branch, but there's quite a few bits of exposed metal around now. Not ideal, but oh well. - The screw for the handlebars gets a bit loose once a month or so. Easy to fix, just a minor annoyance - definitely don't throw away the tools that come with the bike for assembly! Overall: This is exactly what I was hoping for when I got an e-bike! It's incredibly fun and fast, I can put as much effort in as I do/don't want to, and the flexibility of charging the battery wherever is great. Definitely recommend to anyone in the same boat as me who regularly have distances that are too long to walk but short enough that public transit (or driving) is silly. Wish I had one of these while I was in college!

Great bike for cheap money and comfortable.
Great bike for cheap money!I have the bike for a few weeks in use and am impressed! For the unbeatable price, the bike is really perfect and equipped with good components. The assembly was very easy to do and all components were included in the package. The drive is great and has a lot of power and in addition, the battery also really holds out 50 km in a fully electric ride. The saddle is really very comfortable for a mountain bike. The overall quality fits so far and the design is also very appealing.Customar service is good. All in all, I recommend the bike without limitation! "-

Superb bike for the money
Now done about 100 miles in this my first electric bike and I am very happy with the purchase. The assembly was not too complex and the build quality surprisingly good. Although heavy the cycle performs well with or without a power boost and frankly it's a brilliant product for the price.

Comfortable and sturdy.
I bought this bike for my son. It arrived in good time. Easy to put together. My son loves it. He states it's easy to ride and he feels very safe on it as it's study. Unfortunately I've no pictures to share as a couple of weeks after having the bike he had a minor collision on it. (Entirely his fault). He was taken to hospital with a clean collar bone brake and and the front forks had snapped. Now Duotts have been amazing after speaking to their customer service they have offered to replace the front forks. They have gone above and beyond to try and resolve the matter for us. Thank you Duotts.

Powerful and Sturdy
Honestly this is very powerful bike mine one goes to almost 45km/h top after resetting speed limit. Battery is also good. I did 35km with 50% battery with little bit of paddle assist varied from assist 1 to 5. So far I really liked look of it. Assembled it easily. A bit heavy but sturdy bike. Compared lots of bikes and then decided to go with this one. Better value compared to the bikes sold local here.
