When you go to buy a ‘use-good’ product from any platform then it's quality & condition becomes a major concern. Well in my case fortunately I got all the books of The Lord of the Rings in a very good condition. The only thing I didn't get well is it's slip case, it's broken. When I unwrapped the parcel 📦 , the edges of slip case (the one you can see in the pictures) found broken, but I took a sigh of relief when I found all the book in a good mint condition, only a little bend from the edges but its ok. Thanks to Amazon. I'll repair the slipcase later.

The Lord of the Rings Boxed Set The book itself needs no words. It's an absolute masterpiece. However, The seller sent set with torn box. One side of the box containing the books was hardly sticking to the other three walls, had to tape it together.

I was waiting for this beautiful hardcover set , which felt like an eternity, but all my expectation shattered , once I opened the box . It was a paperback edition boxset ! It's really disappointing ! . I'm still waiting for my refund !

I have that old red book, but I wanted to read them separately. Didn't know such beauties were available online. These are some amazing collection with the original drawings of Tolkien and also the original maps with red ink, I couldn't believe my eyes. I have always wanted something like these. The binding is perfect. I received the printed on Italy one and they are lovely. Thank you Amazon for on time delivery and the books came in a pretty good condition. No dents, nothing. My books came fine. Amazing collection. I am in love with these. ❤️

Simplesmente um box magnífico. Venho namorando esse box há bastante tempo apesar de já possuir a edição volume único ilustrada por Alan Lee que também é um deleite. Adquiri esse box por uma promoção relâmpago aqui da Amazon que apesar de ainda ter sido por um valor considerável, valeu cada centavo! O box em si veio em excelentes condições exceto por algumas manchas que acredito serem removíveis com um pano úmido de microfriba, alguns dos livros trazem vieram com leves dobras nas extremidades das lombadas, mas nenhum tipo de dano ou avaria que pareça ter sido ocasionado por queda ou dano severo. Por mais que detalhes assim sejam um pouco frustrantes pra quem é colecionador, de forma alguma são pertinentes, acredito que a maioria venha assim mesmo. Estou muito satisfeito com a compra e com a aquisição, meus parabéns a Amazon pelo cuidado e pela rapidez na entrega!

Was excited to buy this box set. But the box containing the books seems very fragile and delicate. Nothing I do could prevent it from tearing 😩
