A calm and positive read that leaves you smiling and motivated. Totally worth it! 🙌

Wow! As name it is Amazing book. It teaches me 4 major lessons that i have noted down. The best thing is Content in it but another thing that is best is Easy language of English ❤️❤️

27-Feb-19: I feel overwhelmed with emotions as I finish reading “Life’s Amazing Secrets” by Gaur Gopal Das (one of the most loved and widely followed monks of our times). I had pre-ordered reverend Das’s (first-ever) book in the last quarter of 2018, however, it was only in February 2019 that I got around reading this light-hearted yet incredible and thought-provoking book. Do you ever feel irritable or frustrated? Do you ever feel that life isn’t going your way? Do you ever feel that there’s a key part of your life that needs attention? If the answer to any or all of these questions is a yes, it’s a sign that your life is probably out of balance. The secret of life is finding balance: not too much, not too little. Just as a car balances on four wheels, we must balance the four crucial areas of our life: our personal life, our relationships, our work life and our social contribution. Balance on an external level is about alignment of wheels. It is about adjusting of our priorities based on the need of the moment, and focusing on that particular wheel which is out of alignment. However, a deeper aspect of balance that resides within us is about our attitude and values as we journey through life. As we balance ourselves externally and internally, it is fundamental to our success that we never let go of the steering wheel – our spirituality. There’s a myth that spirituality kills our ambitions and zest to achieve. This is false as spirituality just changes our motive to achieve. It makes us want to be hugely successful so that we can have the resources to help others. Spirituality helps develop good character. It is character that shines bright when words fail to do so. The ideology behind the ice-cream is: enjoy your life before it melts. It symbolizes hedonism to savour every moment of your life through personal enjoyment. On the other hand, the candle is symbolic of another ideology: to give light to others before it melts. Both ice-creams and candles melt, but their reasons for doing so are completely different. Just because we cannot be candles fully, it does not mean we would simply remain selfish at the ice-cream end. The journey of life is moving from being an ice-cream to being a candle. At times we may feel empty or lost or have an existential crisis, when we feel that we do not know where our life is taking us. It is at those times that we must hold the steering wheel of spirituality tightly and press on, as we journey our life towards its destination. In nutshell, a life changing book and a must read.

This is a brilliant book. Once I started reading this book, I am not able to put it down. It's great joy to read such a wonderful book. I just started to read this book few days back and I have finished reading of this book today. It's a very intresting book. Author had explained life's philosophy in a simple but very effective manner so anyone can easily understand it. Author is a great story teller and bring smile on your face with his great sense of humour. Author explained important things with different stories with it's teachings. I liked the different exercises regarding Forgiveness and IKIGAI at the end of this book. It's great to know regarding author and his spiritual journey so far through this book. I strongly recommend anyone to read this book to learn and grow in life with a positive attitude.
