Good product Smells go and doesn't require much quantity Really makes my hair smooth n silky

Can only be used for styling, it doesnt help in reducing hairfall and it doesnt promote hair growth. Highly over expensive product with no benefits as such. Waste

I started using this serum years and years ago in my wonderful college days. I was a late bloomer and was very much embarrassed by redhead jokes even when I was in high school. From babyhood I had an unusual (entirely natural!) hair color, a coppery red with other velvet red-gold and brighter strawberry tones that shifted with the light. But though my hair may have been naturally pretty, the rest of me wasn’t, and didn’t “blossom” until college. As I gained confidence, I finally sought attention, and this glossing serum was a DREAM for really bringing out the shimmery lovely captivating coloring I was blessed with, which then also highlighted my complementary skin tone. I was discovering beauty products, and myself, for the first time, and I totally loved it! The serum has a very light, delicate, highly effective smoothing effect, and indeed makes it feel “impossibly” soft. (That’s what a gentleman said to me once, that my hair was “impossibly soft”.) But by now, I *expect* the impossible because Body Shop 👏makes 👏it 👏happen. I used Fekkai Glossing System for a while, but I realized that ultimately, this simple serum is the best performer, and best value, truly. (I still like my Fekkai hairbrush - invest in a gooood hairbrush, you’ll see and feel a difference.) I apply just a little bit at a time, as a little goes a long way. I put a bit in my palm, rub my hands together, then run my hands through my hair, then brush my hair with a dense brush. Repeat if necessary but truly, a little really does go a long way, and you don’t want to overdo it and look greasy. Best to gently increase and be in control. I do this only on dry hair, because I can see the results more clearly and, again, be in better control. I LOVE the effect! Unfortunately for me, I have several autoimmune disorders, which now for several years has included Alopecia Ariata. It has destroyed my once signature, special, most ME, red hair, and now I must wear wigs or scarves to feel comfortable in public. I wish Amazon still allowed comments on reviews because I’d ask what you reading would think about seeing someone out with big bald patches. Not even shaved evenly all over bald, but big spaces of empty within soft, taken-care-of hair. Too unusual? Scarves and wigs prettier? It’s just so HOT sometimes . . . But my main point on all that is: I have also used the glossing serum on my wigs, and it’s so nice and light, it freshens and shines them, smooths them, and makes me feel more put-together and normal. It also is gentle and washes out of them easily. NB, Disclaimer: Ask your wig shop or the wig maker before doing anything to your wig, though. Take special care and responsibility. Not all wigs are the same. Not all hair glossing products are the same! I have introduced this Body Shop glossing serum to my 19- and 15-year-old nieces, who have gorgeous long hair they love to dye in magentas, purples, and blues. The serum really gives the colors a sleek glossy look and brings out the fullness of the colors, especially when they do an ombré effect. I hope this Body Shop Grapeseed Glossing Serum will be a widely used beauty staple for generations to come!
