Keds Unisex-Child Kickstart Sneaker

We bought several items to give to a family, and this was one of them. They loved every item. Very pleased with the purchase.

These are so cute! They are really easy for my four year old to get on and off once I showed her how the Velcro fastens. They also clean up really well. My daughter has brought them home caked in mud, sand, dirt, and goodness knows what else and they always come clean. I touch them up with a rag and a magic eraser a few times and week, and when they get really yucky, I soak them in a sink of hot water and a bit of detergent- then scrub them with a sponge and let them air dry. After a few months of daily wear, they still look nice.

These sneakers are super cute! We got them for our 6-year-old daughter for Christmas, and she has worn them a bunch over the past few days (including our trip to Disney)! I like the look of the laces and the ease of putting them on. It’s nice that she can do the Velcro closure herself since we’re still working on learning how to tie shoes (#thirdkidprobs). :) They’re a pretty color... kind of a rose gold, with some shimmer to them. They seem to be comfy on her. I’m glad I bought them!

We had to return this shoe as it appeared in the Amazon photo that it was a slip on but it was an actual tie Ked tennis shoe. My granddaughter can't tie her shoes and we have enough going on that I didn't want to have to teach her to tie shoes for now. The print on the shoes is totally different than in the photo but it's really a prettier shoe for a school girl. The shoe string though is grosgrain white ribbon that will get dirt fast and will wear out faster than a traditional shoe string. She needed a good play shoe. Perfect for dresses or cute short sets for the summer just not playing in Texas backyards and wearing to school for PE.

My 6 year old wanted to learn how to tie shoes and this has been perfect for that. It’s a keds sneaker so you know the quality is there, and additionally it doesn’t have extra padding which allows her to focus on her technique.

I bought these for my child who is learning how to tie shoes. They came with a tag attached that says "SURPRISE! No tying required!" The sides open up via Velco fastening. The laces are just for show; the bow at the top is sewn on. WHAT?! I bought these shoes so my child could practice tying shoes!! Looking at the listing again, there's ONE photo that shows the Velcro closure and NO text indicating you will not get lace-up shoes when trying to purchase LACE-UP SHOES.The shoes are otherwise cute and well-made, and since it's becoming common knowledge that most big retailers like Amazon will throw out your return rather than trying to resell it, I'm keeping the shoes. But now I have to go buy another pair of actual lace-up shoes so that my child can learn this basic skill.

My daughter is 5 years old. Wears size 5-6x clothing and always seems to be intern sizes. 😄.I bought a size 12.5. They fit good a little on the bigger side (which is what I wanted ) for slip on shoes she is still able to wear them without them coming off her feet.To compare sizes we bought her a size 12 sketchers in August for school and she still wears those fine. In fact that’s probably her exact size right now.
