Very substantial piece, very well made and heavy duty.

This worked perfectly for an install for a waste water grinder and still be able to use a conventional septic system as needed. We weren't sure where else that we could purchase these in our small town. They were also a better price on Amazon than other plumbing places.

Buy these only on Amazon for a secure transaction. There is a scammer called Lamouren which offers these at a ridiculously low price, takes your money and then never delivers or responds. Be careful and buy Amazon merchants.

I just installed this valve and fits perfectly 4 inch pvc pipe .Looks like a good product .I would recommend this to my neighbors because they have the same problem when is raining very hard.

These worked great initially but after using for a while, we're having issues. We're using 6 of these on ponds for about 9 months now. 5 work as they should, the other started leaking after use. The screws are stainless, which I appreciate since these are used for water application and some are in a very damp vault box. Will eventually replace with ball valves as they fail. Had I known how frequently we'd be having to use these and how easily they get crud under the gasket or kink the gasket, I would have gone with ball valves. If for infrequent use, they'd be great.

Installed it this afternoon after two day shipping. Very impressed with the quality of the valve, much cheaper than a four inch ball valve. Could not find one locally. This valve is rated only for low pressure, which was my application. Stem, gate and bolts are stainless steel, I hope to get years of service out of it.

I got these for spillway control valves for a leachate system. They install and function as expected.

I use this for my first flush system for rainwater collection. Works so much better than the old screw cap. Absolutely no mess.

Still awaiting the flood water to recede for installation to take place - no sure I can use it easily, but I will make it work. It is for isolating the house from drains.
