Ultimate Petal

This is breathtakingly gorgeous! I created some cupcake toppers with modelling chocolate then painted them in pearlised edible paints and the effect was stunning. I have received so many fantastic comments on these with many saying that 'they look too good to eat!' The highest compliment! I own many Katy Sue Moulds and they never fail to disappoint. Yes, some of them can be a little on the expensive side but you are paying for quality and, a product that will last for years to come if not forever. I have both of the Unicorn styles, one for adorning larger cakes. I must admit, I have quite an addiction for these moulds. If your'e considering purchasing, just go for it, they are simply beautiful and so so easy to work with!

This embossing mat was perfect for a cake I was baking and looks much more realistic than some of the cheaper garishly-coloured silicone moulds. I have found the cheaper moulds are too soft and lose definition but this one is definitely made from better quality stuff. It's a little pricey for a one-off but as cakes are my business I will definitely be using this again. If you're going for the full tree-trunk, I recommend the Large Log Slice Veiner, also by Katy Sue. A word of caution - if using a softer fondant, as I was, ensure you dust the mould first with icing sugar.

The size was good for the project I was working on

Super quality as always from Katy Sue. I use this for polymer clay projects BUT the mould is very shallow - it is such a difficult mould to use - excellent results on the clay- but each leaf takes soooooooo long to do ... I am not the most patient person ! In fact I have made my own mould from the leaves I have made successfully - and have made it a bit deeper - this makes my life so so much easier. However, I cannot fault the original product - as I said great quality.

I think I was just very disappointed with the size. It's not difficult to use, and it turns out well, but the mould is just much smaller than expected. This meant that I had to keep repeating the pattern. It is a good mould though, and I am sure I will find other uses for it.

I was really nervous about using these, since I haven’t decorated with fondant or moulds before, but it was my daughters birthday so I took the plunge and got these eyes, plus the skin and claws. I’m so happy with them! The silicone is thick and feels hard wearing. It’s pliable enough to easily get the fondant out without losing detail, and my cakes look amazing! I will definitely be getting more from this seller. Just follow the instructions you won’t go wrong.

I haven't relied this yet but it looks brilliant, looking forward in using it

I have alot of molds from flower pro. They are good qualify, the details are exceptional. Sad that Nicholas Lodge, the person who designed these passed away, I dont think they will be producing anymore.
