Fujifilm Fujinon XF 35MM F1.4 R Prime Lens for Portrait | Wedding | Fashion (Full Frame Equivalent = 53MM) with 2+1* Year Warranty

This came with the first releases of XF range and this one has a cult following. Look at the photos captured using this lens, you’ll know why. Works well with older Fujifilm X cameras and very well with the newer ones. This lens is not perfect in a modern sense. It has a charming character. It can make the mundane look like a masterpiece. Get it if you can find it, the prices are always going up for this even in the used market.

Fuji's magic. This is the lens that pretty much made fuji what it is, its their most legendary offering and despite the 33 1.4 being a "successor", it doesnt have the magic this one does.

The praise this lense received at launch (in 2012) is completely well deserved. Despite not being a good photographer, this lense improved the quality of my photographs right out of the box. If you are struggling with the 18-55 zoom lense (a good lense in its own right) that is bundled with the X series, go for this without hesitation. The 35mm lense is visibly faster focusing than the 18-55mm. I *should* have bought it years ago when the selling price was less than 33K, I'd have had much better photographs the last five years.

I bought this lens when I had the X-T20 and had issues with the AF. I just couldn't get it to work well with the body and was quite annoyed with the focusing. I left it unused for over a year and unfortunately the lens caught some fungus in its inner element. I sent it for servicing but was told that it was not possible for the fungus to be removed. To my surprise however, the lens works great even with the fungus still inside. I upgraded to X-T4 recently and can't emphasise on how great the optics of this lens is. The AF works like a charm on the X-T4. I use it for street photography and portraits and it never disappoints. One probably needs a camera body with better focusing abilities, but maybe that's just me. Over all I am mighty pleased with this lens and shall keep it in my arsenal forever. If you are good at knowing the nitty gritty of your camera body and can control the AF, you should definitely buy this lens.

I mostly do B&W street with lens..i also have 18-55 Fuji lens thats an amazing lens too..but as u knw prime lens are super. This lens is small and compact gives amazing results.

For the price, this is a brilliant lens. It's equivalent to 52.5mm on full-frame. This lens was one of the primary reasons I returned the Canon R8 and got the Fujifilm X-T5. The Canon RF mount doesn't offer a good selection of midrange lenses. Their lenses are either crappy $300 lenses, or super expensive $2000+ lenses, with few options in-between.

La verdad es que la calidad del objetivo no es mala para el precio que tiene, pero le cuesta enfocar la misma vida...

O.K. a little noisy compared to the latest video friendly models, but it has classic looks and produces classic captures. It is very sharp wide open and the focus is snappy, considering the moveable mass of glass (Paired to an xt2). Personally, my fascination in photography is an attempt to capture a magical moment in time. This lens gives a lot of help in achieving this goal.

De los lentes originales de la linea X de fuji, es un excelente lente para retrato, el contraste y desenfoque es superiror al de otras marcas, ademas de que el tamano compacto es excelente para cargarlo todo el dia.
