I have brambles and various other thorny bushes popping up in very inconvenient places. These gloves will help me to get rid of them with less pain and torn sleeves. The hands are quite flexible and the arms seem very protective. It's purchase again.

I actually got these to work with a feral cat I trapped in my garage and was trying to get in a transport cage to take him to the vet to get neutered. I didn’t know what to expect as I’ve never done something like this before. So, as anticipated, when I was trying to scoot him into the cage he bit the ever-livin’-crap outta me. IT HURT. I was sure it broke skin and kept waiting for the blood to soak through as I finished getting him in the cage. I was feeling disappointed as I started to pull the gloves off. But, wait what? What do you mean no blood? Where’s the blood? You mean that extremely painful bite didn’t even break skin? You mean these garden gloves protected me from the worst? Yes, that’s what I’m saying. I highly doubt these would protect from say, a raccoon or a large mouthed dog. But for the cat it worked. Color me shocked and impressed. And grateful. Although still a little bruised (on my hand). Lol And he no longer dingles when he walks.

The first time I wore the gloves doing yard work I noticed a heavy chemical smell coming from them- nothing like leather as the description says. When I removed the gloves, my hands were stained yellow. I felt the need to immediately scrub my hands and forearms, and I surely would not want to wipe sweat from my brow while wearing them.
