Flameless LED Taper Candle Lights, 12PCS Battery Operated Candles for Party, Classroom, Wedding, Christmas Decorations

Perfect, perfect, perfect for our Harry Potter/Hogwarts party!! I ordered 3 boxes of 12, but only used 2 boxes (24 candles). We drilled a small hole in the tip (pictured) to run fishing wire through and hung the candles from the ceiling using command hooks. Our dining room definitely had a "wow factor" because of the floating candles! I will add that I didn't consider that each candle takes 2 AA batteries and that made this project much pricier than I had anticipated. But, I took the batteries out of the candles when I took them down and I am sure we will use those batteries up in other ways around our house.

We purchased 3 boxes (of 12 each) for my granddaughter's 9th Birthday party (Harry Potter Theme) - the first 3 candles out of the 1st box were inoperative (despite all efforts of resuscitation) - no problem, we ordered that many figuring there might be DOAs. - I drilled a 1/32" hole, horizontally, through the tip of the "flame" (using a Dremel 4300 - Amazon SKU: B01M1SJNVU) - I held the Dremel with a Dremel Drill Press Stand - Amazon SKU: B00068P48O) - I held the candle with a Mini Drill Press Vice Clamp (Amazon SKU: B0753FKVMX) - If you think I'm making too much of this, well, you're entitled to your opinion - but drilling a 1/32" hole in a 1/8" diameter cylindrical slippery plastic piece is a tricky thing at best - and I had to do 33 of them - I bought most of the items specifically for this project (grandkids get the best) - and it made it soooo easy! - and now I have the tools for other projects (that's my story and I'm sticking to it) - see pictures - this allowed me to thread a 6' length of 4 lb. test low-visibility mono-filament fishing line (Amazon SKU: B01MTXM74Z) - through, knot it (mono-filament line knots can be tricky) and secure it with a drop of Super Glue Gel (Amazon SKU: B0778LB4RX - the control container is worth it!) - We then strung lines of black waxed nylon thread across the ceiling (Secured at each end with 1/2" cup hooks), and tied the candles/fishingline to the thread. - We purchased the "48-pack of Energizer MAX alkaline AA batteries" from Amazon (SKU: B079GXSFPB - $18.99 for 48 batteries - so $0.80 for each candle - cheap) The result was fantastic - the flickering candles bob with the slightest air current in the room - and if one moves, the others move also - and they all stand straight up (just like in the movies). She likes it so much, we've kept it up semi-permanently. The manufacturer should really include the hole in the tip as a feature.

Worked great for the floating candle affect for our Harry Potter birthday with some fishing line. They only turn on when the batteries are in and it’s screwed close so we screwed it mostly close enough to hold in the batteries and tightened them when it got dark. There was no timer or remote to control them. Just unscrewed the bottom when we were ready for them to be turned off. Overall satisfied though.

I just received these flameless LED candles and they are perfect. They are easy to use. I only tried one using the recommended AA batteries and it looks lovely. My daughter is very excited about her Harry Potter birthday party. I am sure these candles will look amazing when we hang them from the ceiling for her party. Great value!

Great buy! Easy to hang with some fishing line/invisible thread and clear thumb tacks. Super simple to turn off and on and they look fantastic! They even flicker giving it a great added touch. I would definitely buy these again!

I was a little skeptical because the packaging was very nondescript but these babies are AWESOME! I used them to decorate for my sisters bday and they did not disappoint. The price is great especially since you’ll need 24 AA batteries, yup 24. Also if you want to hang them buy some fishing line and clear thumbtacks. Don’t wait til the night before like I did and realize they don’t come with anything to hang them with and now you’re at CVS at 1am looking for strange items in the middle of the night

These were bought for the Harry Potter floating candle theme but never actually made it to floating status due to their heaviness. After the batteries were put in they were very very heavy. Also you have to twist the bottom cap at just the right angle or the light goes out. Too tight and it doesn't work, too loose and it doesnt work. Sometimes it just didnt work at all unless you tinkered with it for a couple of minutes (or gave up)

I really like that each operates individually. No strings no plugs. I don't like that they each need 2 double AA batteries, however, I've used them as part my grandson Birthday Quest, I plan to use them for decorations during upcoming holidays. They give great light. Overall a good solid item.
