Excellent value compared to an OEM GM part - $24 vs $240. Installation was relatively easy and it operated perfectly. Hopefully it will last. 2006 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD driver's door latch replacement.

Part was a little different than original but function and fit exactly the same. Took about 20 minutes to install. Fixed all my related electrical issues and seems to work well. Cannot rate over long term durability but very happy with price compared to locally sourced prices here.

Latch seems to be okay quality wise. However, it is designed different from stock. The way they have made the keyless entry/lock it is not possible to engage the lock when the door is open. So if you want to use the lock button on the door before you close it you cannot. You can only lock the door with the key fob. This is a deal breaker for me and I will be returning the latch.

It worked good for my old truck, just to notice I have to lock it with the key after all other doors are locked with power lock The latch is made differently inside.
