Yes, you should to some extent, for extra long cables we are unsure it would fit the whole thing.

Just the stand alone NO charger

Q: Do I have to remove my phone from its case in order to put it in the stand?

If your phone case has a Magsafe ring on it the no you don’t have to remove the case to charge it. But your case does have to have a Magsafe ring on it to charge it on the stand
