Why give a brittle plastic cover?
The clippers are sharp. But the plastic cover to catch chipped nail bits broke in the first use itself. It is made of low quality plastic. The nail clippers can be used without the plastic cover though.

Neat, Efficient Clippers
I like the neat & clean finish of the clippers. They are very sharp too, so they dont leave rough edge. Just one lil prob is that they are very tiny, and hence are not convenient for cutting toe nails.

Best nail clipper, an excellent Quality
Kai brand products are best known for their quality. Still I have Nail clipper, works Excellently, bought in 1984 in Japan. This one is addition in our family. I used Korean and many other Nail clippers, but कई is the best. I have used many Kai products since 1984, my first visit to Japan. I am well aware of Kai products.

Made in Vietnam, not Japan as stated
I own an original from Japan and comparing the nail clipper which was sent, they look identical however packaging says Made in Vietnam as well as the nail clipper itself. Plastic quality feels cheap
