These two tubes are uniformly 30 mm in diameter. Many rifle scope tubes also are 30 mm. I use the tubes to align a 30 mm set of rifle scope mounting rings and to polish the internal ring surface using a fine pumice with the second of the two tubes.. I have used a micrometer to verify the uniformity of the. tubes and they are on the money.

What can I say; its a piece of aluminum pipe... seems to be true to sizing described. More expensive by the foot than a metal supplier but shipped quickly.
