For quite some time, I had been looking for a quality bluetooth speaker. I like and enjoy music and wanted something that reproduced it without having huge speakers in a comparatively small space. I stumbled across the 'Dockin D Fine +' through an obscure review and went on their site.. ..the rest is history.I bought one, loved it and immediately purchased a second. Each was delivered very quickly. Set up is very simple and the sound of these 50W speakers with great sound - especially the bass - is amazing quality for the sound. The battery lasts some 14 hours at medium volume and they have charging capability for mobile phones.I gave four stars for portability.. ..to get great sound, speakers need to have weight otherwise they vibrate off the surface on which they stand, so, they are not light. Carrying one is fine as it works as a stand alone stereo but moving two is going to be more difficult. I had a little difficulty pairing the speakers - instructions say to press the on/off button twice.. ..do the twice quickly, once paired that's it no need to do it again.Highly to be recommended and, judging by many of the reviews I have read, these are better than the likes of Bose and Harman Kardon, etc. Enjoy!!

Sounds fantastic. Mostly use a Sony MP3 player with it outside having a bbq,etc. Battery has lasted all evening and into the small hours at an entertaining level. Have another bluetooth speaker that is a bit smaller but the battery sealed inside didn't ever last anywhere near as long and is in a lower league regarding sound. It's possibly not the most portable speaker just because of its weight but great for what I need. Haven't used it for charging other devices so I can't comment on that. Have recently bought another speaker to pair with the existing one and it really is quite amazing. I have transferred hundreds of cds onto an mp3 player and the few albums I transferred in FLAC are mind boggling in clarity. Songs I've heard hundreds of times before suddenly seem to include sounds that were recorded originally and I'd never experienced them. Unlike some other speakers it doesn't appear to be unnecessarily bass heavy and suffers little with distortion. It connects easily with the mp3 player and my phone. Pairing with a second speaker is easy too. I think you press the power buttons twice and they engage in a sort of beeping mating ritual before matching up. Takes seconds. Has provided many afternoons and long evenings of entertainment. Could probably replace my aging hifi system that I hardly use but it's worn in now and I'm probably sentimental about it. At least one person I know who heard the speaker one evening bought one himself favouring it over his Bose speaker. Fingers crossed the batteries keep going strong. Glad I bought them and happy to give praise to a product that deserves it.

Great speaker.. Powerful... Shame cable at side rather than rear... Apart from that good buy.

In my humble opinion, this is probably the best sounding bluetooth speaker under £200, or maybe even £300. I would not be pretentious enough to call myself an 'audiophile', but I am very fussy when it comes to speakers. I have had a lot of these type of speakers over the past few years of various sizes and prices, but this one really stands out above all of the others I have listened to. Yes it is fairly heavy , you can't chuck it in a swimming pool and still use it afterwards, it isn't quirky and 'pretty' and it won't fit in your pocket, but there are plenty of far inferior sounding speakers that will, so if that is important to you, get one of them instead. However, if you want a really great sounding speaker with truly excellent bass response and great mid and treble performance (to get the best results, if possible set the frequency levels to what suits your taste with the equaliser settings on your MP3 player) give this speaker a listen, I'm pretty sure you won't be disappointed.

After reading & watching all the reviews regarding this speaker I decided to give it a try as my Harman kardon go and play 2 was on its last legs, build quality was on par with other great speakers out there, straight forward setup, as for the sound? Hhmmm not so good! Don't get me wrong for the price you can't go wrong, there was just something lacking and left me underwhelmed, not that loud? Not enough bass!! Suppose you can say I've been spoilt by having the go & play.. absolutely worlds apart and far superior.. so I'm returning this and buying another go&play..

Googled mobile speakers, picked this, although never heard of Dokin,as liked its make up of speakers & good reviews.All I can say is wow! what a deep rich sound, great battery life, whilst still looking great. I bought the Dfine+ & liked it so much, that I bought a second!. I also bought the case for both as well, which is ideal for carrying when travelling, camping etc.Would highly recommend!!

Flawed. Returned item after only 1 hour of playing. Sound drops in crude increments over the playing of a note. Not true at all and sounds as if signal is playing underwater at times! Absolutely weird and not sure how item could have ever been passed as fit for purpose. Which it is not. Tried different cabling for same result. Did not bother testing wireless play. Do not recommend.

The added features of this speaker have come in much more useful than I ever expected. I've recently taken this on a long car journey with friends, and used this the entire trip. Being able to charge my phone from the speaker has come in very handy when relaxing at the park and playing football, whilst not having to worry about it getting a bit damp put my mind at rest. My housemates also love the portability, as wherever we gather for a night out we always have a good speaker.
