Thank you for your question. We work with IFOS accredited suppliers, and we accept only the highest quality raw materials, discarding any that fail to meet our exacting quality standards. By way of example, the limit we set for the mercury content of our raw oil (<0.005PM) before purification is 20 times lower than is permitted by GOED and IFOS (0.1PPM) for finished products, meaning the contaminant levels in our raw oils are significantly lower than is legally required in finished products. We set strict standards, carefully overseen for the entire production process from end to end, monitoring the raw materials, purification process and finished product. Our customers can be assured that our raw oils are tested and accredited by our suppliers and come issued with certificates demonstrating them to be well below the legal limits for contaminants (total PCBs, dioxins and furans and dioxin-like PCBs) and heavy metals (mercury, lead, arsenic and cadmium). In addition, we do not utilise any raw material unless the TOTOX values (which give an indication of secondary peroxidation end products) are well below permitted legal levels, thereby allowing us to guarantee the purity of our oils before concentration and encapsulation. Once our oils are encapsulated they are then third-party tested to ensure the active ingredient content meets our label claim. Are the bottles bpa free and uv protected at all times? i just ordered a bottle of this omega 3, can i return it if i find the taste rancid?

To protect the fish oil from rancidity, we have included the potent antioxidant astaxanthin, sourced from algae, to provide protection to the oil from oxidation. Our supplements are also GMP manufactured and third-party tested to ensure purity, active ingredients, nutritional value and safety for the entirety of their shelf life, significantly reducing the likelihood of degradation.
