Big Hair Care Rotating Hot Air Styler, 50mm Brush, Ionic, Fast Drying and Styling

The title says it all, brilliant item, easy to use and not too heavy, dries and gives great bounce to my hair,and,not too expensive

I've had all previous incarnations of the Big Hair. This is probably my favourite but I'm not convinced it's worth the additional 50% (at the time of writing) cost on the original. Pros: - Looks and feels lux - Doesn't get quite as hot so feels a bit less damaging - Better grip on the hair - Spins a bit faster Cons: - Expensive - The new style buttons are a bit more awkward - No improvement in finish to the hair compared to original Overall, I have no problems with this at all, and knowing I like the product I'll definitely get a couple of years use out of this. If you haven't used a Big Hair before though, go with the original black version instead. More general comments about the concept of the product: - Can't live without a Big Hair; it genuinely gives a salon standard blow dry with minimal effort - The technique takes a couple of attempts to master and you'll probably get your hair tangled a couple of times, but if you take sections and then apply the tool to it rather than lifting your hair with the tool then it won't get tangled. - To get a proper salon standard blow dry, it'll take about 15 mins. - I've got a bob at the minute and it gives me great bounce, but when I had longer hair it gave a great Kate Middleton-style blow dry. - My top tip is to run the dryer the 'wrong way round' over the top of your hair to smooth the follicles down before then going underneath to get the volume.

Such a useful grooming tool, even more so since needing to style my hair one handed after breaking my elbow! I haven't quite mastered the full 'just left the salon' blowdry look yet, but feel I am getting close! ***This works best on nearly dry hair with some form of heat protector and/ or styling aid on it.*** Pros: -Ergonomically designed, very easy to hold and I haven't accidentally heated my hand once! -Love the colour! :-) Looks much more attractive than the old black plastic one! -3 different heat settings, including cool blast -Rotates two different ways Cons: -I just wish it had a little more drying power. Has added an extra step to my hair styling routine as opposed to making the initial step easier. I feel results are worth it however!

Never normally write reviews but I’m so so pleased with this. I have fine, mid length hair and just used it for the first time. Absolutely love the result. Hair has more body and bounce. I dried it roughly with hair dryer first then went for it. Really easy to get to grips with the rotating brush, which direction etc. Was worried that my hair would get tangled but whole process was effortless. It’s not the lightest but it didn’t take very long to get my hair totally dry so not really an issue. Not sure how really thick hair would fair. Only other thing was I found it a bit tricky to switch to the cool setting mid dry, but sure that’ll come with a bit more practise and anyway I got so much volume without it I’m not really bothered. For me this is total game changer. Highly recommend.

Having read a very positive review in the Sunday Times I wanted to try this even though I’m happy with the original style Big Hair this is far superior. My hair is sleeker and more shiny. My hair is very thick with a tendency to waviness and frizz. With this I quickly have smart shiny hair ready for work. It grips hair better and i’ve had no tangling issues. I’m so pleased with this that since I used it the first time, my other Big Hair hasn’t been touched.

Very disappointed with Babyliss. I have always loved their products, especially the babyliss sheer volume. As my babyliss sheer volume has broken down twice (still loves the result it gives)... I decided to buy this model instead. 1. It doesn’t dry your hair unless the hair is already almost completely dry, but then the problem is instead that it won’t shape it because the hair is dry 2. Following the upper comment, it is not warm enough and therefore leaves the hair still wet when you’re done styling - becomes frizzy 3. The cooling function does not work 4. I am used to using these products for years but even so my hair gets stuck in between the brush (the black parts) as there is a gap (probably a glitch in the product). When it gets stuck it rips the hair off - not so fun. Due to these points, I would not buy this product

This is actually the best purchase for my hair ever. I had to move last month and my brush was in one of the boxes! Literally, I was dreaming of that moment when I was going to use it again! It gives me the shiniest hair ever and is super easy to use. The only downfall is that at some point it gets a bit heavy as my dominant arm is a bit weak due to an accident but other than that is a must have! Thank you!

This product does not dry hair effectively, you need to use it on almost completely dry hair and it can do the finishing touches. It does not give a strong curl and has difficulty drying the roots (as they wrap over the hair from the ends and don’t get as much heat). It does give a smooth effect overall but not a big bouncy blow dry that you would expect. I have thick wavy hair, so you might have better luck if you have fine hair.
