Dear customer, The pixy2 camera can be added through the i2c interface, but the image transmission is best not through the existing communication method of the robot. It is easy to interfere and is more difficult. So the better solution is pixy2 camera+ a controller with wireless transmission function. Q: I am considering buying this product but cannot be sure what batteries to purchase with it. What battery should I buy, can you plz provide a link?

I ordered a set of Nitecore IMR14500 650 mAh Li-ion rechargeable batteries (https://www.nitecorestore.com/Nitecore-14500-650mAh-Battery-p/bat-imr14500-nite-ni14500a.htm ). These are "for high drain devices," with a discharge current of up to 6.5 A, and do not have internal protection, so you must exercise caution when using them. ( Nitecore makes a protected version that is sold on Amazon, but it does not deliver sufficient current to operate the hexapod.) I also ordered from Nitecore a recharger for Li-ion batteries designed to protect them during recharging. Discharging Li-ion batteries beyond a certain point renders them unrechargable. To protect against this, the hexapod's circuitry monitors the battery voltage and shuts off battery power when the voltage drops below 5.5V. The hexapod requires two batteries; I ordered extras so that I could recharge one set while using the other.
