NOW Foods Supplements, Glucosamine '1000' (GreenGrown® Glucosamine), Vegetarian, 90 Veg Capsules

I bought this for my dog recovering from a slip where she hurt her paw. Though she was already 90% healed, Ii truly feel this glucosamine has given her more strength and bought life back into her. I also pair this with 1/3 rd of a capsule of NOW Red Mineral Algae and add to her 100% home cooked, vegan meals and she is doing great! Her ankle (from her slip) that was hurt is 100% healed and I am thankful to be able to buy ethical, vegan and high quality items. Another great point to note is that because the items are vegan and do not contain fish or shell fish, my dog had NO allergic reaction or itchy skin which I see too often in American dogs. I open the capsules as they are large and I do NOT want to put plastic in my dog's body anyways....so I always open the capsules and add the powders to the food bowl, mix and serve.

Within a week of using this with a chondroitin source, the pain in my hands was gone. I tried a different brand and the pain came back. It is a decent price and I highly recommend it.

I take this regularly to support joint health and it has made a difference for me. Trustworthy brand. Your mileage me at vary, as different people respond differently to different supplements, but if you're considering it, it's worth a try!

It’s very difficult to find a vegetarian friendly glucosamine supplement, which if you are reading this you probably know. But I find this works for me. A significant decrease in joint pains and places where bones tend to grind now feel more lubricated. It won’t cure all your ails, but It will help.

Have been buying NOW brands of supplements and essential oils since the 1970's. I only trust this brand for not adding in fillers from foreign companies like all the other supplements. NOW brands is high quality at a fair price!

I do have bad knees. I am overweight which doesn't help. I am allergic to sulfur. This is what happened, One time years back i had a balder infection and the doctor gave me Sulfur tablets, after I took them for three days I broke out with a rash blotches all over my body and I was sick for a while. In 2007 my knees started bothering me so I decided to take the knee joint product with MSM which has sulfur in it. One day day I was washing the dishes and I know no one would believe what happened to me cause I couldn't believe it myself, this is what happened. As I was washing the dishes one of my fingers on my right hand had a deep cut in it straight up and down and no blood came from it. It scared the wits out of me. so I stopped taking it. My knees felt better. Year 2010 A friend was helping me with a shopping cart loaded up with food which was very heavy. I was pulling the shopping cart up and the other person lifted it up from the bottom but on my end I had most of the weight trying to bring it up the stairs. My right knee started bothering me first. I started taking the Glucosamine it helped for a while and I kept taking it. Where I live now I live on the third floor and the stairs are somewhat steep. Now since I have been going up and down the stairs quite a lot my knees have been acting up on me a lot even my left knee. I ordered something else from amazon Now UC-II type II collagan which I should receive very soon. I hope it works better.

My mom used to have terrible arthritis pain in her hands. Her fingers were all swollen and deformed. After giving her Glucosamine for a while (1pill twice a day), her pain disappeared and her fingers straightened out. This stuff is amazing. Also, the vegetarian version is not made from crab so, less allergic reactions. This stuff is awesome. I recommend Now brand too. They use legit ingredients unlike some other companies.
