iFilters 2-Stage 10" Well Water Whole House Filtration Complete Commercial Grade System | Removes Sediment, Chlorine, Rust, Odor, Taste, Iron, Heavy Metals | Dual Stage with 1" Ports

We purchased this a few months ago and now with "stay at home" order for NJ we finally had the chance to install the unit and plumb it up. Installation was a breeze and within a few hours my son and I completed the plumbing and were ready to go. We turned on the water and celebrated the fact that we didn't have any leaks anywhere. After purging the rest of our homes plumbing of air I returned to the basement and heard the disheartening sound of a drip hitting the ground. After inspecting everything a leak was found at the close nipped between the two filter heads. Thank goodness I was smart enough to put in a filter bypass or I would be in trouble. I am contacting iFilters now and depending on the customer service level we get I will adjust my rating accordingly. UPDATE: Contacted iFilters via email and they responded the next day. There was an issue where the close nipple between the two stages wasn't tightened but with some detailed instructions from iFilters, a little teflon tape and a few twists of the filter head everything snugged up and the major dripping stopped. We then experienced drips from the filter housing o-ring. Once we let them know about this slow drip iFilters said they would send out a replacement o-ring. Good customer service is always great! The filters are now in service, despite the dripping, and I have to say that our tap water looks and tastes far better than before this was in place. We have municipal water but sometimes it has an odor or chlorine taste to it. The activated carbon filter is doing a fantastic job of taking out all of these impurities and I would recommend this even for a municipal water supply system. FOLLOW UP - After waiting weeks and weeks for the replacement o-ring I went to our local plumbing store and got one. I am disappointed that they didn’t follow through on their promise and the customer service isn’t that good. I probably would not buy from them again and they lost a star because of this. 2/2021 Update - Gave iFilters one more try as we were due to replace the filters this month. They got back to me quickly and George, their Marketing Manager was a great help in sending out some replacement gaskets. He was understanding and very helpful and even sent a set of replacement filters for our troubles. I changed my review because not only was the customer service great but from the photos you can the incredible job it does removing dirt and debris from our city supplied water.

It was a complex whole house filtration for well installation. Thus house never had any filters. When I got in water smells bad. Desire to go with filtration system and UV light treatment Installation not complicated if u know principal of water flow system. I did design, got help to prepare mounting surface. All parts from HD no prb. After shower few hour later no sight on smell Amazing! We can drink water now Taste good, feels soft Definable you need understand nature of well water to create correct design for cleaning and treating water

Works as it should. Not the easiest to replace the filters, not to mention the cost of the filters. No leaks or problems. Have had it for a couple years now

If you are not proficient with plumbing or understanding water flow direction, you may want to find somebody that is. I had no issues with this system and used 3/4 PEX combined with shark bites. I mounted this system onto a secure wall stud to stud because it does carry weight even when empty and no water flow, so keep that in mind. The pictures are deceiving on its actual true size, so measure twice, cut once folks. There was no loss of water flow with this system and I can already tell the difference in taste, smell and residue left in toilets and basins due to the now lack of the white fluoride and other city water chemicals being reduced. Prior to its install, I would have white spots left over on sink and countertops and a toilet ring discoloration with a tinge of aroma. Taste of water and PH levels have been literally reduced by huge amounts and I cannot be happier with this system. Quite simply, if properly installed, this is a perfect product to help your water system.

I have a very large off grid house. Water comes occasionally from a well. This filter will have the capacity needed to support the water flow we sometimes have. Note it has a paper primary and carbon secondary filter. Very nice setup!

Worked as just as we planned! Everything went right in. These are much bigger than what we had so had to run new plumbing around each side to it but everything went smoothly! No water pressure loss either! We are on a well and it's been 2months since Installed. Very please and will definitely come back add or edit review if any problems come up. I can say it's definitely a great buy everything seems durable and built to last.
