Parker JOTTER Stainless Steel set, Ballpoint pen and Mechanical Pencil (1741243)

Great pen and pencil set. Proced reasonable and just as good as more expensive brands

These pens are a favorite for my husband. He has used them for years for work and buys refills for them all the time. He finally lost his last one recently, so I had to replace them...great Christmas gift. He prefers to add the gel pen inserts, but they have both ball point or gel ink inserts in black or blue for them. They are light weight, but with enough substance that they are nice to write with. Professional looking and the gel ink is a nice even flow that allows for great writing every time. I would definitely recommend these to anyone looking for a nice professional pen. The only downside is the refills are a little pricey, but if you keep up with them you will save in the long run.

This is a great set of writing instruments. They are lightweight and balanced. Nice to write with. The price is great 👍. Parker is a great company for writing instruments and supplies.

I've used a Parker Jotter ballpoint for the last five years or so - I don't write a ton, but I appreciate having a pen that's distinctively mine (no one ever steals it!) and which is durable - I've broken lesser pens in half inside my pocket, which is unpleasant. I recently needed a refill on my pen, but started wondering if maybe there was a pencil in the same distinctive wrappings - lo and behold, here it is! The pen is great as usual, and the pencil has the same great build quality and double-sprung "clickiness" that drew me to the pen in the first place. The pencil also has a replaceable eraser under the cap, which is conveniently inscribed around, both to make distinguishing the pen from the pencil easier, and to make eraser access simpler. Highly recommended to anyone who likes a good solid pen or pencil, and who doesn't want to pay $100+ for a Mont Blanc.

I am very happy with both the pen and pencil's size, design, and mechanics. They look professional and are priced so that I can use them daily.

I've seen alot of reviews online raving about the glories of the Parker Jotter. I like the look and weight of stainless steel (and brass) pens and the price point on this set was great so I bought these with excitement to see how they compare against my other metal pens. The first thing I noticed is that these are really light and don't have the weight of my other similarly sized stainless steel pens. In fact, they feel kinda cheap. My first impression is that I'm not impressed and they don't stack up well to my other pens. But, I didn't want to rush to judgement so I played with them for awhile to give them a fair chance and I'm glad I did. The clicking mechanism on the pen and pencil is very satisfying, especially the pen. Its not heavy, but very sturdy, with a nice "ker-chunk". I actually like the clicking mechanism on the pen a lot. The pencil's clicking mechanism is lighter and shallower, but still very nice. I also like that these Jotters are both thin and "normal sized". Many metal pens & pencils have a thicker barrel diameter than "normal" pens & pencils, but I prefer the thinner profile of the Parker Jotter. However, I do prefer the heavier weight of my other similarly sized stainless steel pens like the Bastian Slim Bolt Action pen. This set of Parker Jotter's was made in France, and I have heard that they don't live up to the quality of the older pens made in the UK and USA. I've never played with the older pens, so I can't comment on that, but I will say that these are quality pens and I'd much rather buy a French made pen than a chinese made pen.

Purchased this as a graduation gift for my granddaughter. Excellent quality! Had them engraved by a local jeweler.

Amazing product. I didn't really need the ball pen since I already had one exactly the same. But the pencil is not available as a separate item. I really wanted an all metal 0.5 mm mechanical pencil and this one fit the bill perfectly. This was the only model where even the tip is a single piece steel shell. The 0.5 mm bore is part of the machined tip and not glued as a pipe like in all the rest. Its smooth and comfortable. A bit light but that should not make any negative impact if you intend to do a lot of writing with it. Its a little expensive but since its engraved as made in France, I guess the price is understandable. Parker India should definitely make this here at more affordable prices.
