The main color of the yarn that came with the kit was a different color than pictured but still worked for our purpose. Needle flimsy and bent but did not break. Plastic frame is very cheap and has no hanger. Tried hanging on an existing screw but kept falling. Will try a different method. Finished picture turned out cute.

Bought this to be a craft that my grandchildren and I would have fun doing. They’re still a little young for this they were getting frustrated they wanted instant gratification this product takes time however, l am holding on to it until they get older.

This beginner needlepoint kit is a great project for boys or girls ages 6+. I got this for my grandson, who is age 7, and he loved it and made it as a gift for a sibling. The kit has everything included except for scissors. This teaches persistence, patience, focus, and pride in accomplishment. We started with me sitting right with him and directing every stitch, then on the second session, he did more by himself, but with me right there to help. by the third /last session, I was sitting nearby, but he did everything himself. The key is to listen to the child and provide encouragement and rest. Don't push to get everything done fast. Also, if there is a mistake, just say that it is normal to make mistakes when learning, undo the work gently, and start over. My grandson was so proud of his work, and he did a great job.

Easy for kids and seniors

Easy craft for low vision person; needle eye was fine; but the yarn was of such poor quality it was unusable.

This is not for just the beginner. My 6 yr. Old granddaughter did not take to this. She got very frustrated and just stopped working on it. My 48 year old son in law is loving working on the cupcake one. He doing an excellent job ❣️😊😊
