They are my second pair. First one broke.. my fault. If you take good care of it, you won’t regret. Sound is great and microphone is great. I use it for singing karaoke 😆 Edit: this is my third time getting a pair, and it’s only because my cat chewed on the wires while I was away for a little while.. I’ll but and re buy these! I’m not a fan of Bluetooth headphones 😅 and these have the microphone. In the end, they are still my favorite, not expensive headphones to get!

Headphones are good but the material covering the foam on the ears on one pair disintegrated quickly. The second pair did not have this problem.

I have a pair of wireless Sony headphones that sound pretty decent and I have had what I think are the older version of these headphones from about 20 years ago and thought both were decent. But these overmodulate and there is absolutely no bass, tinny treble and mostly midrange. I am pretty discerning with my music and should have bought better headphones so that’s on me. But the reviews were so good and my experience with Sony has been good in the past so I gave them a try. I should mention that they appeared to have been opened before. The cord was not coiled neatly in the box and there was no seal to break. Maybe there isn’t on this model? Will be returning and if you are at all wanting these for music I would not consider this model. I have never given 1 star to a product before.

Sony headphones will always deliver decent sound. However, I purchased these to use while traveling from the US to Kenya and back, so noise cancelling was important to me. When I purchased them, the description advertised noise cancelling as a feature. These have no noise cancelling feature. The model that does has a switch on one side, which this model doesn't have. So that sucked. Further, these are described as over-the-ear design. They are not. They are ON ear design, which means they begin to hurt if you wear them for long enough -- for example, for the length of an in-flight movie. Once the ache starts on the ears, you really can't use them anymore. So, not only was I in pain from the pressure of the headphones ON my ears, but I also couldn't really hear much because the sound of the planes overtook the sounds in the headphones. I do recommend these as a budget level headset for those who just want to listen to music for relatively short periods of time at home without a bunch of outside noise. I do NOT recommend for use over any length of time or for traveling because they don't cancel noise. The only perk regarding travel is that they flatten out and kind of curl up, making them a little more compact for packing.

These are great headphones! People like them so much they steal them! This is our second pair!

The headphones are comfortable and sound good. My brother was in broadcasting and he and his colleagues swore by these Sony headphones for their clear sound and low price (easy on the wallet if they got lost). I use them for watching YouTube and listening to podcasts and music. Very happy with them.
