My son got this yo-yo for Xmas. He's obsessed. He's learning a bunch of new tricks. The yoyo is of really great quality, it is metal, so stand clear when your kid is practicing. It also comes with a whole bunch of extra string which will be useful if your yo-yo-er is prone to making knots whilst learning tricks. He has easily learned a couple tricks within the couple hours he has been playing with it, and he's having a lot of fun. Size is the same as a typical yoyo. Definitely a good buy for your yo-yo enthusiast.

This was my first yo yo and i dont have any complaints. Im sure advanced people might have a different opinion but for me it works great, especially for the price

You have to attach the string yourself, and it apparently isn't easy to do. Of the two yoyos, one of them won't hold a spin, and the other one will spin forever and won't bounce back up your finger, I assume because I didn't attach the string right...?

My middle school boys are very into yoyos and this was perfect. Being unresponsive, they can do so many cool tricks with this yoyo. It isn't the standard up and down with the flick of a wrist, so be sure your recipient knows how to use these yoyos. The extra strings are also nice to have as a replacement when they get too tangled up or knotted. Highly recommend.
