This hominy is better and more chewy than that which comes in a can.

Great product at a reasonable price. I've become very fond of the Goya product line, and so when it came time to find an alternative REAL hominy product, NOT confused with the common "instant" type sold at the local grocery, I opted for this. NOT disappointed, and very pleased with the quality. Will definitely recommend and buy again!

The price was way too much for only one pound I taught it was at lease 2 pound never again

I am new to hominy. I bought this without realizing that "morocho partido" means cracked kernels. I wanted the whole kernels. It cooked up like a thick porridge, not bad but not what I was looking for.
