I purchased these replacement parts for my ten year old Char-Griller Barbecue! They fit perfectly and provided new life for my classic vintage Barbecue!

This kit comes with everything you need to "tune up" your grill. I installed this in my 5050 Duo and had excellent results. Please note that in this kit, the burners mount to the rear brackets with screws, washers and nuts that are provided--not sheet metal screws as with the original burners. On that note, I suggest that you leave the rear burner fasteners slightly loose until you get the front valve assembly reinstalled, as it affects the positioning of the burners. Once this is done, then tighten the rear burner fasteners. You will find that there is more wire than you'll ever need from the igniter module to the new igniter electrodes, so use a few tie wraps to tidy things up by tucking and fastening the spare wire inside the panel of the front valve assembly. One thing that was real plus to this kit is that the new grates came with the indexing "bumps" on the bottom, to keep the grates aligned with the lower grill housing. All in all, a nice kit that installs easily (provided you don't have to fight rusty fasteners from the old burner mounting brackets).

Fit my grill nicely, and easy to install.

Everything fit perfectly for my grill and makes it work like new. The only issue I had was the igniter for one burner was slightly out of position.

My grill was in pretty good shape but the inside was rusting out from 2 years of use in particular the brackets and heat plates. The parts are everything you need to refurbish your interior grill, Grill panels, brackets for the front and back, burners and even the ignition starter with wires and all the screws, washers and nuts to assembly it without having to purchase a thing. Great buy for those who aren't yet ready to get rid of the Grill. My only struggle was getting the old screws and nuts off - I had to sheer them off with a chisel and hammer. Once removed it was cleaning the interior of the grill and replacing the old with the new. which didn't take long. One suggestion is to put the burner on to the rear brackets before installing. Trust me it makes your install much easier (installing small nuts unter the burner & bracket once bracket is on is nearly impossible). The images posted are after I installed and tested the burners (just my way of ensuring everything worked, I also surface treated the plates and grill with a small layer of cooking oil - slight orange look in image on heat plates). Overall it is a great by and strongly recommended and it looks good... imagine having the right parts for the job. That's what you get with this entire purchase. It's Worth it!

The problem with this kit is that on the version of the Chargriller 3001 that I have, the heat plate supports are welded onto the grill body, not held in place by screws. To replace the supports with the ones supplied, I will have to somehow remove the welded on supports, then drill holes to accept the screws. I haven't done this in the time since I purchased the kit but now with the old supports no longer working, I will have to. Everything else is top notch, fits and works as expected.
