OTTERBOX STRADA SERIES Case for iPhone Xs Max - Retail Packaging - ESPRESSO (DARK BROWN/WORN BROWN LEATHER)

Got this guy today, in the worn brown leather look. Is a little lighter in color than in the photo, but it does look classy. I honestly couldn’t be happier with it, and it’s by far one of the best phone cases I’ve had! I really like folio cases, as I absolutely hate to get dirt, grime, and scratches on even a screen protector, when I set my phone down or in my pocket. Definitely a feeling of nakedness for your phone when you don’t have a good case on there. This case certainly takes care of all of that!Often times the edges of leather cases like to peel. I’m honestly unsure how much leather this thing actually is, but the design is very well put together! The edges are a harder rubber and a little plastic, with the leather stitched outside of these immediate edges. Definitely feel I won’t need to be concerned about this peeling away anywhere. Feels very durable, like I could drop it almost anywhere.Only minor cons are that the front of the folio (the flap that folds), feels rather thin, although it feels stitched together well, and I do think it’ll hold together nicely. With the power button cover seeming a bit tricky to push at first as well, although this has softened up for me a bit already.My only real complaint is that I’ll have to take it back off to put another screen protector on my phone, and I really like how it feels perfect on there already :(

I purchased my iPhone XS Max in 2019 and bought a brown Otterbox Strada folio case to protect it. I ended up replacing the brown case with the black version in 2020. It is now 2022 and I just put in an order for my third case. These cases really do last and protect. I’ve dropped my phone several times in the past year, somehow always on hard cement floors, and every time I picked it up I worried I might have damaged the phone or shattered the screen but I’d look and the phone was completely fine. The only reason I’ve had to get replacement covers, at least with this most recent replacement, is because the plastic shell surrounding the phone begins to break off after a while. I feel thought that this is to be expected with the usual wear and tear a case would get being used everyday. I’d definitely recommend this case, especially if your top concern is protecting the screen.

I wasn’t sure if I was going to like a case with a cover and now I wish I had bought it long ago. Having the cover on the front really helps to protect the screen in my pocket as I often carry a pen and/or stylii which can scratch up the screen. I was also concerned about scratching up the leather but the idea is to protect the phone and looking at the case it certainly prevents any scratches to the phone’s screen. The scratches or rubs on the leather actually give it a nice worn leather look. Plus the magnet keeps the lid closed. It also will easily fold back so you can hold it with one hand but I’ve now become accustomed to using my thumb to hold the cover open and the fingers underneath it just like I hold a book. I’m a one finger typist on my phone anyway. And when it’s closed it looks like a fine leather book. Little book, but a book. My only regret is not buying it sooner. I highly recommend this case.

Having twice left my wallet at the gym after the workout, and later recovered it from the nice people who work at the gym, both times there were quite a bit cash in the wallet, I decided it's time to get a phone case with a card holder. I also have had several Otterbox's phone cases in the past, and I like the brand's overall quality and in particular the protection it provides, so it's natural that I searched for Otterbox phone case with card holder for my iPhone and ended up buying this case. So now I just keep my DL in the phone case all the time, and leave my wallet at home when I go to the gym. I also left my airpods' charging case at the gym once, now I wonder if they have a case with both a card holder and an airpods case holder.

If you like Apple products you'll love this case. Its fit and finish is perfect. It has only one viable purpose though - to protect all surfaces of your iPhone without looking like some kind of crude industrial apparatus. It's more beautiful than any iPhone case I've ever seen (and I've bought a lot of them over the years).I do put one credit card in the 'pocket' but would worry about stretching the leather by trying to place more than that in there (don't want to affect the looks or thickness of this case). And by the way, the cell phone works just fine, at least the way I use it with this case.But if you're looking for a case that doubles as a wallet, I suggest you look elsewhere. Also, if you want to fold the cover partially back to prop it up in landscape mode it works just fine on cloth or textured surface, but it will slide down flat if you try to tent it that way on glass, marble, or wood.I'd give it 6 stars if I could. I sure don't understand these low number star reviews.

I’ve had this case for 3 months so I feel confident in saying that it will hold up well. My biggest concern when I ordered it was that the cover would bend and curl away over time. It didn’t do that, it’s as solid as the day I got it. The open-close function still works perfectly. I like that it magnetically latches when it is fully opened. It latches closed and it latches open. I’ve had other cases that do not do that and it was annoying. It’s nice that the cover is not flopping around when you use it. The leather itself is sturdy as is the case. No fraying etc.I like the case. Most importantly, my iPhone XS Max screen is as fresh as the day I bought it. No scratches. No micro-fine scratches either. And that is the main reason I bought this case. I decided to make an effort this time out to keep my screen blemish free. So far, so good.

seems to be a good case but don’t plan to put more than 2 cards in the pocket. you can fit more but the magnetic fastener won’t hold. probably the best thing about this case is it’s appearance. it is a nice looking case and seems to be well made.
