Excellent product and service
As described, note that it needs to have a constant 12v supply as the battery charge is not very long. Seems to be a quality product

Be careful - it needs to be plugged in to power!
Tbf if you read the description carefully you will spot this, but I didn't. This needs to be permanently plugged in to 12 volt usb. The "battery" is just an emergency back up and lasts a couple of hours. I thought it would work on battery the whole time so useless on my boat.

Farts test
Farted in it went off heald it above hob went off,sprayed butane when off. Has battery back up that lasts a few hours Ideal for campers as works off usb power

Follow the instructions and it works well
It does the job. I tested this lpg detector with an almost empty butane cyclinder. Within 5 seconds the percentage of gas present rose and set the alarm off. Of course you must remember that lpg is heavier than air so keep the detector low down 30cm max from the floor level. Not as loud as a smoke detector but sufficient to warn those in the boat of a gas leak. Very impressive design.

No backup battery
NO BACKUP BATTERY!! Charged for over 12 hours and as soon as removed it was dead. Mains display also in Chinese. Was bought as we have no mains near or in our boiler cupboard and every now and then we get a smell of gas so wanted to check the boiler was ok. Only needed the battery to last a few minutes just so we could check if the smell was coming from the boiler but didn’t even make it off the charger. Returned as not as described.
