The F105w is an improvement on the classic Casio F91w in one main way. The backlight. The F91w backlight is renowned for being awful, and is barely functional. This model adds a blue backlight which is superb and lights up clearly at night. The display is legible and in all other ways the watch is identical to the F91w in terms of features. Whether or not you consider the look of the watch to be an improvement on the F91w (ie. more blue on the face and the word Illuminator on it) will be down to your personal preference. They both look great in my opinion. This watch cannot be faulted in terms of styling and features for the price. I don't wear it often any more as I do not think it is suited to those with above average wrists (7 inches+). They are retro watches and back in the 80s watches were not the giant dinner plates that seem in fashion today, but even so, I feel that those with larger wrists will struggle to pull this one off as it will feel too small and dinky when worn.

Can’t fault it. It’s Casio, cheap and cheerful. Accurate and reliable and will last years. I prefer the smaller watch faces on my wrist, so this is perfect for anyone with smaller wrists. Strap is on the short side though so keep that in mind.

Great casio especially the back light. Get it before Casio discontinue this model.

I’m a huge fan of the iconic f91w. I have many of them in most of the colours. But we all know the light is feeble. There, I’ve said it. We all feel better for admitting it. But wait! There’s good news! The f105 is a f91w with a far superior light! Casio fixed the one flaw of their classic. It even has the same strap! Buy one, be illuminated!

It tells the time and doesn't break when it drizzles. What's not to like?! I had one of these as a kid, and I'm really stoked to have one again now. For the price, it can't be beaten, and these days carries a certain amount extra something, maybe down to the nostalgia value. TBH though, what more do you really want from a watch? Yes, the water resistance could be higher grade, but for the money it's perfect.

Excelente reloj. La calidad es muy buena y sus funciones son muy útiles, ademas destaca del Casio f-91w por mejorar la iluminación. Todo esto a un precio muy accesible, ademas es muy versátil con correas nato. Este es el segundo que poseo, el primero duro conmigo al rededor de una decada (hasta que lo perdi) y ya era usado, ojala este me dure mucho también.

luz fantastica y buen reloj pero la correa es un handicap. En la mano se siente cosa que no le sucede al 86-w y el ajuste de muñeca es critico, si tienes una muñeca ancha te va a quedar pequeña la correa. He decidido cambiar la correa de mi antiguo 86-w y este lo dejo al cajón porque el 86-w es mucho mas ajustable y agradable de usar, de hecho ni lo noto y lo llevo puesto ahora mismo. Ni lo dudeis, existiendo el f-86-w no cometais la torpeza que hice yo de comprar el 105 w que ha acabado en el cajón porque es mucho mejor reloj el 86w
