My wife loves her messy buns and, after a week's use, is quite impressed with this one. Its appearance is pretty close to real hair but you can definitely tell the difference to touch. The chestnut colour is a little redder than it appeared in the Amazon site but that's probably down to the colour adjustment on my monitor. The colouring is even, with little variation so this is probably best used with coloured hair that doesn't have many highlights or tonal variations. Stretched open, it's quite a large aperture in the middle and the elastic isn't overly strong but there's no indication of it failing or overstretching any time soon. There's plenty of stretch to be able to use it in thick hair. So far, it's keeping its shape, with no fly away strands and not shedding at all so it's looking pretty good in the durability stakes too.

This bun piece is well made with no loose hairs. It looked real and natural when worn and matched my partner's colour hair effectively. A great little hair piece to add volume and a change of style fast. Very easy to use too! Great value at the price -would recommend.
