Bought this as a replacement for an alarm which the fire brigade installed but the battery had died. Was glad I was able to get this replacement as it just clips in to the existing fitment. Worth the cost for peace of mind. Very happy.

Bought this for an elderly relative. I've used these before though. The fact that the batteries don't need to / cannot be changed makes it very low maintenance. Not that smoke alarms need much maintenance anyway. It's a small unit and very discreet but seems to work well. Obviously I've never used it in a real event but the testing works well, alarm is loud and clear. Of all the ones of these I've used I've only ever had one go faulty - false positives. Replacing it was easy and the price makes it even better.

Just replaced the same one after 5 years. Like other reviewers, the battery only lasted 5 years. Otherwise an excellent alarm and simple to fit. New one fitted into existing base plate, taking seconds to install.

Bought as a replacement for one that the fire service put in my house. If they install them then they must be decent so obviously when the battery was low I bought another and clicked it straight on
