New Balance Women's Fresh Foam X 1080 V12 Shoes

As someone who isn't a runner but appreciates comfortable and versatile footwear, I rate this shoe 5 stars. The design of this shoes is sleek and modern, with a range of appealing color options. The overall aesthetics are pleasing, making them suitable not only for running but also for casual wear. The minimalistic yet stylish look was a definite plus for me. One of the standout features of the Fresh Foam X 1080 is the exceptional comfort. The cushioning offers a plush feel with each step. Even for non-runners like myself, this feature translates into a comfortable experience during extended periods of standing or walking. The shoes provide a comfortable, secure fit without feeling too tight. I usually wear size 9 in running shoes, but ordered size 8.5. It fits perfectly. While these shoes are designed with running in mind, they proved to be versatile for everyday activities. Whether running errands or standing for extended periods. The build quality appears to be robust, with quality materials that suggest longevity. While I haven't put them through extensive wear and tear, the initial impressions suggest that they can withstand regular use and maintain their shape over time. Considering the level of cushioning, the Fresh Foam X 1080 is surprisingly lightweight. This contributes to the overall comfort and wearability, especially for individuals who may not be engaging in high-impact running activities. The combination of comfort, versatility, and appealing design makes them a solid choice for non-runners seeking reliable and comfortable footwear. I haven’t bought new athletic shoes in years and needed new ones for my walking routine. I chose these New Balance mainly because they offered a C width and reviews spoke of the comfort. I hate wearing shoes, most hurt my feet, mainly my heels, but these really are as good and comfortable as expressed in reviews. I literally have worn them everyday since they arrived, even at home. My feet have never felt so pampered. I have a high arch and high in-step. My feet are a bit on the wider side as well, thus I chose the wide shoe. I normally wear a 5.5 but I ordered the 6 since I’ve always been told to order athletic shoes half a size larger. Though I could have easily worn a 5.5 in these, I like the bit of extra room. I’m a girlie-girl who loves nice design/styles and these shoes are so pretty for athletic shoes. I chose the gray, white soles but what I really like is the brown/copper tread/toe. I think it just ups the style level a little bit. New Balance, these shoes are great!

These Tiffany blue sneakers have been in my Disney Vacationing list for months, but the price kept me from pulling the trigger. I tried a different brand first, more affordable, and they were an absolute waste of money. I should’ve just gone with these to begin with - NB is a reliable brand, the size & width (7.5/Wide) are perfect. I’m currently breaking them in but they’ve got plenty of space & I can tell they’re gonna be perfect for our upcoming Universal & Disney vacation. I have a knee injury & I could tell when I first put them on they werent gonna aggravate it. Just buy them. Spend the money. Your comfort is worth it. They’re also stupid cute.

First my subjective gripe: I could not tell from looking at the pictures but the toes of this shoe turn up at an exaggerated angle like genie shoes when you are not standing in them. Like sitting with my legs crossed (ankle up resting on other knee) and seeing the shoe from the side the rocker bottom is extreme at the toe and with the wide toe box, they look like dutch clogs. I absolutely do not like that look but if you are a clog fan then you might find that a plus. They also look huge. When I lifted them out of the box I was sure I was sent the wrong size, but no, that's just how they look. I imagine they designed the severely upturned toes for running, to roll off the toes easier, but I don't see why they needed that strong of an upturn. It ruins the look of the shoe for me (especially in combo with the wide toe box). But the do look normal when standing in them, as you can't tell with the toes bringing the tips of the shoes down to a normal profile. Now for the good. I have occasional plantar fasciitis from wearing flat cheap shoes from the local big box for the last few years, so I wanted a good walking shoe to give me support to relieve that. I walk the dog daily and also walk on the treadmill, sometimes jogging on it for short periods, but not a runner per se and can't speak to how they are for runs. But they are comfortable for walking and have reduced my pain from about an 8 to maybe a 2. I've only had them a few days so I expect the PF to go away completely now that I have some good shoes with decent support. That said, one thing I've noticed is that after walking less than a mile, my lower hamstrings (just above the backs of my knees) start to tighten and hurt, as do my calves. This from the design/drop of the shoe I imagine. But assume this discomfort will go away once those muscles strengthen. Bottom line: To me personally no sneaker is worth $175 (what I paid with tax) as I am guessing any shoe with decent support would relieve PF. But I wanted to make sure to get at least one really good pair for exercising so we'll see how they hold up. They do take some breaking in but they are comfortable with good cushion and support. But might try something else next time that doesn't look like a clog from certain angles. Am keeping them though because I do think they are good for my feet and I will wear them walking and on the treadmill.

Shoes are comfortable, well cushioned, machine washable and my favorite shoes. I’ve washed them in the washing machine many times and they come out looking new again. Durable.

Super comfortable. Fit as expected

New Balance 1080 is my favorite and most comfortable running shoe. This is my second pair, and I plan on buying another.

Muy cómodos y ligeros

Ich trage das Modell während der Arbeit und habe auch nach 7 Stunden Gehen keine Schmerzen. Meine Tochter trägt dieses Modell beim Laufen auf dem Laufband und im Gelände und ist auch sehr zufrieden damit. Vorher hatte ich Asics in der selben Preislage, doch die waren nicht so gut gedämpft wie die New Balance. Volle Empfehlung.

Dies ist mein 2. New Balance als eingefleischter ASICS Nimbus Fan aber ich muss sagen, dass diese Fresh Foam noch besser gedämpft sind. Dieses Modell fällt recht groß aus, aber so passen auch die Einlagen locker rein. Tolles Muster noch dazu

Fab wide shoe, slightly long in the toe so perfect for runners - you don’t need to size up. Nice cushioning without having an enormous bouncy sole. Really grippy soles which took me by surprise on their first run. Would recommend, also awesome colour!

La caja venía en mal estado, pero creo cumplió con su función -proteger el producto-!! Son los segundos que pido en diferente color. Me encantan, para mi son súper cómodos, diario troto 5K y son perfectos! A diferencia de los primeros (amarillos) estos venían “WIDE D”, o sea más anchos, no está mal. Mi pie mide 23cm y esa medida pedí, quedan perfectos con calceta porque sí vienen amplios. Mi recomendación pidan su talla exacta.
