Brilliant for glueing Cotten polyester canvas. Bought this to repair my bell tent using spare canvas from scrap tent. Seems to dry quite quickly so not sure how big a patch you could do but managed a 4” diameter patch ok . I cut the patch first then traced around it on the tent with a pencil so I could spread the glue exactly as any spare would not clean off. Spread glue on the patch as well then pressed it on immediately , it held well so no need to hold in place. I did a test piece as in the photo and can’t pull it apart it’s glued that well . Just be careful where you get the glue as it’s really hard to clean off !

It was my first time hemming some curtains, and I cant really sew, so I chose the fabric glue, by Craft Central. I found it quite tricky, but that's partly my inexperience and clumsiness. It dries quite quickly, I didn't find the little spreading tool very helpful, and next time I will use less, as in places it soaked through, and can be seen from the front. I would recommend giving it a try on some scrap fabric, to get an idea of how much to use, and maybe practice using the spreader (wish I'd thought of it before). So, for convenience, cost and effectiveness I'd recommend the glue (and some practice).

Good glue. Covered some cork plant-mats with velvet and the glue dried quickly and stuck well without discolouring the material.

Easy to use, follow the instructions and it works really well. Easy to apply the glue. I needed it to glue braiding around a set of four screens. The glue spread easily on the braid and cotton fabric, don't worry that the clear glue changes to a brown colour, this fades and no residue colour is left on your fabric. The glue bonded immediately but gave time to re position. Any residue glue left on fingers is easily removed with soap and water. My fabric bonded immediately but I'm leaving it 24 hours, as instructed, before attaching hinges to the screen. Very satisfied

Delivered sooner than stated, which was a bonus. I was able to quickly repair the problem that the glue had been ordered for. Very handy having 2 enclosed applicators, which helped to make it a neater repair.

For making my tobacco pouches and coin bags.

Used on thick woven fabric, adheres well.
