Black Horse Off Road Roll Bar (Stainless Steel)

I give this a 5/5. Easy to install, looks great. Took me about 2 hours from opening the box to everything tightened down by myself. A couple of tips: Make sure you leave everything g loose until it’s on the truck and the mounting bracket is attached to the bed. Also I dumped the contents of the parts bag Into a paper plate and sorted everything. Makes it easy to tell which washers and bolts you should be using when you compare it to the packing list/instructions. Last thing, once you start drilling through your bed rail be sure to put a 2X4 behind the rail so you don’t punch through suddenly and put a reverse divot in your bed. Overall a great looking easy to put together product.

Fairly nice construction, easy to assemble and looks good but will not fit the width of the bed without fabricationg at least 2 spacers the length of the mounting holes at least 3/4 inches wide.

Purchased as part of the plan to add a light bar for loading and offloading tools and supplies. Delivered on time, well packed and easy to assemble. It has some play in the mounting plates so I suggest leaving it loose in until you fit it to the truck bed then mark where it fits and tighten the bolts. So many suggestions as to where to find the 3rd break light connection on the Internet for an F250 super crew cab 2017. I took it to the dealer for the 60K check up and asked them to find the brake wire for me. Turned out it was in the cab, passenger side access panel in a bundle of single capped wires.

Very satisfied with this product I would recommend also a note. This will fit a ram 1500 product is surprisingly strong after installing. My tip for those who buy this product is to leave the bolt semi loose place it in the bed get the bars adjusted where you want them then secure the bolts.

I put this on my 93 F-150 and it looks like this is what it was made for. It would help if the manufacturer would put up some mounting deminsions , I lucked out and one of your reviews said that he was trying to fit to a Dodge Ram and he was xx inches wide and the Black Horse Bar was about 1and 1/2 inches to narrow. So I measured my bed width and found that if I put a 3/8 spacer on each side it would work just fine. I need to say that I have bed rail caps on my truck , if I had not had them I would needed a 1/2 in spacer on each side. I used a 16" x1 1/2 x 3/8 aluminum bar for a spacer, bolts worked just fine more than long enough.
