Q: What is this made out of?

They are made of hard plastic! All the eggs when you open them up have a picture of the stage of development the chick is in. The last day has a fuzzy chick. I use them in my Kindergarten class to show the stage the chicks are in and we also candle the eggs to compare! They are wonderful for our science lesson! I wish they made them for ducks as we incubate both ducks and chicks!!!
