We’re so obsessed we actually bought travel-sized squeeze bottles (the SUJUDE Condiment Squeeze Bottles — 10/10 recommend) just to take Lizano Salsa with us everywhere. Road trips, cookouts, even breakfast tacos in the Jeep. My husband is a full-blown taco connoisseur. The man can eat tacos for breakfast, lunch, and dinner - aka the Taco Trifecta. Every single one gets the Lizano treatment. Flavor? Deep, layered, unmatched. Quality? Always consistent. It’s not spicy-hot. It’s flavor-hot. Once you try it, there’s no going back. Consider yourself warned: one bottle won’t be enough.

This is the sauce that plenty of restaurants in Costa Rica serve. I had it during a recent trip to Tamarindo, and put it on everything. I didn't realize it was missing in my life until I tried it, then I immediately ordered 2 giant bottles so it would be there when I got home. This sauce is spicy, but not too spicy. It has a very full, round flavor profile that works well with everything from rice, to meat, to egg breakfast burritos.

Went to Costa Rica two years ago and was introduced to this sauce. Love it! It goes on any Mexican-type food, eggs, you name it. So glad Amazon carries. Great deal and will buy again.

I first encountered this salsa on a trip to Costa Rica and it is absolutely delicious. You can make a pot of rice and just eat it with this sauce and nothing else. It enhances everything on which you put it. The product arrived very quickly, which is more a review of Amazon's amazing delivery service than it is of the salsa. So why just four stars? Because I have three cautions to give you. First, I can't find anything that says hydrolyzed vegetable protein, found in this product, is bad for you, but I am not entirely comfortable with an ingredient that heavily processed. Second, it has a lot of sodium, which I didn't realize when I was using it in Costa Rica because I didn't see the ingredient list on the label. If you are avoiding sodium, you should skip this product. Third, my understanding is that hydrolyzed vegetable protein has a lot of glutamate, which is what is found in monosodium glutamate and is supposed to be a main part of the umami flavor. If you get MSG headaches, this salsa will probably give you a headache.

Great taste and easy to add into dishes. The flavor adds a unique taste to Latinx dishes. Doesn't taste like Costa Rica but still good.

We love this sauce. It is the best steak sauce although we use it for a lot of dishes. Thanks

Mon garçon m'a donné une première bouteille à Noël, pcq la recette vient du Costa Rica et que j'adore ce pays. Je l'ai tellement aimée, qu'une fois terminée, j'en ai rachetée une autre. Je l'ai aussi offerte à des invités lors de leur visite, et ils ont adoré. Je mange végane et elle se marie très bien avec plusieurs de mes recettes préférées . Mais elle se marie très bien aussi avec des viandes. Je recommande à 150%

Salsa Lizano no ha bajado de calidad con los años, su sabor es el mismo. Yo se la pongo a todo. Recomendación: si no la has probado, compra la botella pequeña. En gustos se rompen géneros.
