Pretty good value, indeed, I've not found anything better. The treads appears to be quite deep, so should be comfortable to stand on. The construction is sturdy and gives confidence it will not tip. Someone was complaining that too many rules are pictured on the side, but those are simply standard industry H&S guidelines, which are sensible, as too many people have had life changing injuries using a ladder inappropriately. And, it's really meant for electricians (though obviously not limited to that profession) so any ladder movement could lead to tools slipping and hitting a live part; not a good idea at all. The tough plastic tray with a hole or two and a hollow bowl for bits at the top is ideal for the odd tool and screws. You are not meant to stand on the very top tread, which makes sense. Opted for the 6 tread ladder because it meant I didn't have to carry around a smaller ladder only to get somewhere to realise that I needed something taller. So, a good compromise, especially as it is reasonably lightweight.

These arrived 2 days earlier than was advised but that's not something I would complain about. Really sound construction with wide, well ridged steps which are solidly riveted to the uprights. Maybe a little heavier than aluminium steps of the same height but probably only by a a kilo or so. The stepladder is slightly tapered towards the top, giving a wider base which, with the firmly attached feet, gives a very good level of stability. the quality of manufacture is very high and I would expect these to last for many years. There's definitely no way I'm going back to aluminium!

Excellent ladder for DIY tasks. The ladder is very stable with wide steps so I feel so much more secure than on my old aluminium set. Useful holes in the top step hold tools to make tasks easier. It says it is light but I think it is medium heavy because it is so sturdy.

These ladders arrived the day after ordering and have been so useful and in use everyday so far. Just moved home and wanted a set of ladders that was easy to move around but taller than the normal 4 step stepladders. They are very sturdy and I feel very secure when on them with their rubber feet. Would highly recommend.

I liked this, it feels safe. I've only given it four stars. The reason is the top of the ladder is only rated for 10kg and you are not supposed to sit on it. I would have expected it to be super strong and take my weight and built to the same standards as the other components. Also, you can't lean it against a wall and use it according to the symbols on the side - which feels like a design compromise. However, many of the warnings and instructions are nonsense ... i.e. they say don't inject drugs while on this step ladder ... errr DUH! Why not say "No swimming" or "Ingesting a bicycle". It's probably just Health and Safety gone mad.

Wanted study, light ladders to use for cleaning my windows and general household tasks. The reviews on these were reassuring and are spot on. The ladders are indeed light, sturdy and I feel comfortable using them (from someone not keen on using ladders) Happy with my purchase, quality product.
