These are also sold at Lowe’s and there’s so much more expensive there and they’re usually out of stock. I would recommend buying them through Amazon because they always have them. They do work well.

Only reason overall rating is not a 5 is that each time a new filter is installed and the water valves opened to the filter housing, the pleats on the filter get ruffled and a little out of shape. I have tried this multiple times with very slow opening of the values to ease water into the filter housing, but the filter pleats still get ruffled and misshaped. However, the filter works fine, lasts a couple months and water pressure remains high through.

It fits my water filter. American Plumber model W34-PR. Good price. I would buy again.

Wanted to reduce and reuse filters, but can not believe how bad these performed.
