As somebody that has very long, thick course curly hair when you research the curly girl method they always suggest washing your hair twice. This shampoo came highly recommended. As when you wash your hair with it. The slip in this shampoo is great. you don’t feel like you’re fighting your hair with a rake and comb Less hair is lost and your fingers easily slide through your hair. You can use this for a main wash or a pre-wash the smell is fantastic and the price is great. I do think that the pump on this could be a little bit better. It’s very hard to get the product out and very little comes out out of the pump out of time, but otherwise the product is absolutely great. It’s frizz reducing and very hydrating.

This shampoo works so well I only had to wash my hair once and it doesn’t dry it out. The smell is AMAZING!

Smells good, doesn’t strip my daughters hair, good for her curls. Natural ingredients.

Great product for my daughter. I have chronic migraine so it is slightly strong for me personally, but most people don't have that issue like me and shouldn't be bothered at all by the smell. On my good days it smells great! Great for keeping knots out of hair too.

Bought this for my partner who has very thick, curly hair. He is happy with the product. He didn't take nearly as long to blow dry his hair after having used this as opposed to other brands he's used before. His hair doesn't smell gross like it has with other products either, which is awesome. His hair doesn't do well at all with this humid, hot weather and he really needed something that was especially made for people with his hair texture. I like the fact that his hair doesn't smell disgusting after his shower and having dried it as it has with previous products 😊 The product arrived inside a sealed plastic bag and didn't leak. The product is very easy to use via pump. His hair was left clean, soft, light weight, moisturized, and tangle-free. We could tell the product contained good quality ingredients.

October 5, 2023 UPDATE: Previously I had given this shampoo four stars because in spite of all its great qualities it dried out my hair a teeny tiny bit. But then I discovered when I used it with Baja Basics Hair Growth Elixir Rice Water detangling hydrating spray leave in hair conditioner, my hair became lustrous and just within two weeks of using the rice water conditioning spray hair, about 1/4 inches long hair sprouted all over my head! The baby hairs were noticeable in the big ALMOST bald spot I had in the crown area from wearing a sunhat everyday for 15 years. Yes, the hat stopped hair growth in my experience. Within four weeks the combination of this shampoo and the Baja Basics rice water hair growth conditioner caused the baby hairs to grow to half an inch length. I wanted people to know what happened as a result of the hair growth conditioner and this shampoo so I left a review about this shampoo on the hair growth conditioner/elixir on that site. Then I thought there might be people here on this shampoo site that are struggling with thinning hair so I am leaving information about that hair growth elixir here. I feel truly fortunate to come across two super stars products that work exceptionally well together. And to top it off both products are really reasonably priced. The Baja Basics hair growth elixir rice water hydration spray that is a leave in conditioner is only $14.95 for 4 fluid ounces, The ingredients are spectacular! Rice water, rose water, glycerin, D panthenol (wonderful, gentle for hair growth), Vitamin B5, Vitamin C, aloe vera, sorbic acid, MSM. Vitamins superb for hair growth and health. Why I am not giving it 5 stars is because it dries out the hair a little bit. I will include this shampoo in my routine hair care, but I am still on the search for a shampoo that will clean well without drying out my hair. One side note: There is another plus to using this shampoo. It will cut out itchy scalp. The ingredients are so clean that the scalp is cleaned well, too, not just the hair.

Shampoo and conditioner are great. It does have a strong scent, so keep that in mind if you're sensitive to scents. I have natural straight hair and this shampoo leaves my hair soft, shiny, and the conditioner doesn't weigh it down. I don't know why, but it works better than other shampoos/conditioners. My issue is the pump. It's hard and it doesn't pop back up. I have to pull the pump and then press down to get product out.
