Easy to Apply, Easy to Pick Up
We used this film on our wide pine floors prior to the movers coming and again on our large format tile floors at the destination home (and no, you can't reuse it -- new rolls at each location). I can't assure you that the film protected the floors; although there wasn't any damage at either location, not even a hint at a scratch, perhaps they were careful and there would not have been any damage even without the film. But I'm not willing to take that chance. We're having some remodeling work done at the new home shortly and the film is going down again to protect those large tiles. The film is easy to apply as long as you have two people. With two, it's easy. One stands on the end of the film and slowly walks towards the person unrolling the film. This places slight tension on the film and it adheres to the floor. Very simple and not the hint of either of us calling a divorce lawyer (although we'll never hang wallpaper again, but that's another story). The film is intended for single use. It has a very, very weak adhesive to help it stick to the floor so it comes up very easily and totally intact. Roll it up into a ball and into the trash it goes. As an added bonus, if you're careful when you're rolling it up, all the dirt the movers brought in remains in the film ball and goes into the trash. Perfectly clean floors in a flash! Very pleased.

EXACTLY WHAT WE NEEDED TO PROTECT OUR HARDWOOD FLOORS!!!!
We have recently had our hardwood floors refinished. We had contractors coming in to do additional work and wanted to protect our floors. This product DID THE JOB!!!! It is durable and remained adhered to the floor for almost 2 weeks until we removed it. It went down very easily. It took a little effort to remove it, but rightly so. It was removed with NO DAMAGE to our floors.

Not great for floors but wraps other sensitive items for shipping great
I had a heck of a time getting this to stick to carpet. I made such a mess that I probably balled up 1/4 of the roll and trashed it. However what I did end up doing is taking padding and using this to wrap things around pictures, TV's, glass mirrors, etc... It worked great and help up over the course of my move. I think it could work okay on the floor if you take your time and maybe have two people holding it tight but it seemed to stick to itself really well but not as well to the floor which made it one of the more frustrating things of my moving preparation. Might perform better on wood or tile but didn't try that flooring substrate.

Professional grade and worth the price. Great protection for your floor.
I just moved into a home where the natural wood floors were completely refinished, ... in December, ... in Minnesota with snow and ice and salt and grime tracked in. I placed this adhesive plastic everywhere people would be walking. It was GREAT! I left this down for a total of three weeks on the wood floors with no issues. No remaining adhesive residue whatsoever, no damage to the floor finish. And the plastic stayed put. It's a thick enough plastic that it's durable too. Not cheap or flimsy. This is definitely professional grade. I would avoid placing ANY product like this on wood floors that have been refinished within two weeks. This is per the guy who refinished the floors here. As with any plastic, it can get slight slick when wet. Nothing out of the ordinary though, ... just what you might expect with wet plastic. Still this was amazingly "grippy" for walking around on. I even placed it on the stairs. No problems. Highly recommended. Buy with confidence.

Only sticks to itself - good luck laying it down
Unrolls like normal tape roll, so it’s already difficult to lay down. The picture of the guy in the description is most likely him kicking the roll in frustration. I swept, vacuumed and washed the floor in the images. Let it dry overnight. Then vacuumed it again, just to be sure it was clean and dry. Laid out film and pressed some down onto the tile. After it pulling up all over the place as I tried to unroll more, I eventually got enough down and from the start smoothed it down flush against the tile. Moved to unroll some more, just the pull from unrolling it SLID it across the tile as if it was just normal drop cloth plastic. It then caught on itself slightly due to static and stuck as if it was super glued. It’s great if you want to stick it to only itself. Otherwise, it’s just hard to unroll drop cloth with a less than sticky note tack on the wrong side to unroll easily. I had to tape down all edges of it and it WILL tear if stuck to itself, which it WILL do when you try to lie it out. Carpet is even worse than the super smooth tile that gives it maximum contact to the film. Won’t leave a residue, because it won’t stick to do so. I wish it were returnable. It’s so far off from any part of the description, it’s a pure waste of time and money. Way to expensive for how much time and energy lost compared to a basic much cheaper roll of plastic drop cloth. Or use a couple layers of plastic cling film… same thing.

Protected out hardwoods!
We were having an annual outside party at our home. I hate all the traffic inside the house for the bathroom and the cleanup after. So I bought this, laid it over all of the hardwoods and the bathroom floor to see if that decreased wear and tear and clean up. It worked awesome! Before I put it down I vacuumed and washed the floors. It was relatively easy to go down, but I wasn’t worried about air pockets or wrinkles, I just wanted the floors covered. The adhesive on the back keeps it in place but doesn’t make it impossible to adjust your placement. I installed it mainly myself but a second set of hands at times was helpful. The knife sent with it was useless as it broke after the second use, so have a utility knife handy. When the party was over, I just peeled this off the floor with all the dirt and debris that was tracked in the house, and we were left with perfectly clean floors!
