City Car Wash and Giant Gator

I purchased this carwash set for my 3 1/2 year old, and absolutely loved playing with this set. That said, I had to ultimately return it because he still lacked the dexterity to operate the spinner component of the carwash (the blue reservoir where the car splash lands). He enjoyed turning the water tower faucet which fills the carwash "bath" with hot water, that turns the color changer cars' color. He also enjoyed operating the turn mechanism of the yellow dryer rollers. We used the toy indoors, and yet, a minimal amount of water escaped the toy and landed on the floor, but it was so easy to clean up with just a single paper towel. The toy has a removable dish that acts as a reservoir to catch water droplets and splashes. Anyway, I had to return because at 3 1/2 my son was not yet able to utilize the spinning device which holds the icy water to change the car color yet again. This was a main feature of the toy, and instead of him doing it, I always had to do this part, and also fish out the cars as they got stuck inside of it. Not fun...so, this was a deal breaker for me though I'm sure it would not have presented any problems for a slightly older child. Anyway, I still highly recommend the toy, as it's made well, has a great concept, and is a good quality standalone toy. One additional thing to beware of though is that the Color Changer cars cost more than $15 each!!! Yes, you can use your regular Hot Wheels cars on this, but they won't all fit. The Color Changer cars are slightly shorter than the others, and that leads to them getting stuck in the cold water reservoir mentioned earlier. It's easy enough for an older child to fish these out (though it's probably frustrating), but not a younger child. Anyway, just be prepared to shell out major $$$ to build up your Color Changer car inventory!

We love it! Wonderful toy. I'm glad I got it off Amazon. Much cheaper than Target. Easy build. Even mom can do it 😋 everything is in bags according to what "zone" you're putting together. Which is awesome! Only thing I hate is that it only comes with one color changing car. Each new color changing car you buy is 30 bucks. It's ridiculously pricey. What can you do. My son's extremely happy. So that's all that matters to me. I love that it comes with a picture of each piece you can buy to complete the city. It's amazing how many more you can get. The city will be huge when we are done!

This product provides hours of fun to young people! It is sturdy and is worth the money.

Very fun although sometimes the car comes out backwards at the gator part it's a good toy

endless fun and great quality, my three year old puts a beating on this set. It also easily attached to all of his other hotwheels tracks and set ups. The only issue I have is this is a little messy with the water but I cant think of any way they could use the water and it not be messy. The set it tons of fun for both adults and children, easy to assemble and great quality

My son (3) received this Santa this year and the look on his face was priceless when we got exactly what he asked for! The few things to know: 1. water not required (nor would I recommend it). We have not even attempted it because I cannot justify wetting cars that aren’t supposed to be. The set only came with one and it was nearly impossible to find others. So we made the decision for the kids to use their imagination! Lol 2. The “icy water” area was rather challenging for my husband and I to get the cars out without some force, but with some effort and toddler energy, my son seems to have no issues! He pushes down hard and fast to get the cars to shoot out - and they do, right into the gator mouth, like the commercial. Enjoy!

My 4-year old grandson LOVES this! He is really into the HOT WHEELS cars and this gift was the hit of his bday party. He can use the track, wash his cars of course while playing with water which he loves. It also keeps my bathroom and kitchen floor dry because he is not washing his cars in there because he is using this car wash lol. It went together pretty quickly too. He plays with it often indoors and out.

This toy is super fun! Both of my boys (9 & 4) have had a blast playing with it. I was worried about it using water and was afraid it would have to be played with outside to avoid a wet mess on the floor. But, we actually have only played with it inside. They can have some fun without using the water features. But, when they want to use the water features, we just put it on the tile flood with a towel underneath and there’s not much mess. Also, I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to dry the whole thing when they were done — wipes down very quickly with a towel.

My grandson received this for his birthday last year. I am sure he has spent many hours playing with it.

In unser großes Hot Wheels Zimmer ist vor einiger Zeit diese Waschanlage eingezogen. Wir hatten jetzt ein viertel Jahr Zeit sie auf Herz und Nieren zu testen. Und wir finden sie super. Vorab: Negative Rezensionen kann ich nicht verstehen. Wer kauft denn eine Waschanlage für ein Kind und bedenkt dann nicht, dass es kleckern KÖNNTE?!? Außerdem: es ist Wasser...WASSER. Es ist kein Saft oder Tomatensuppe. Bei uns hat es in dem viertel Jahr 2 Mal nur gekleckert, weil mein 3-jähriger nicht aufgepasst hat. Das waren maximal 2 Esslöffel voll. Zur Not halt Handtuch drunter, wenn man pingelig ist. Zudem einfach mal die amerikanischen Bewertungen angucken. Da hat das Teil fast 5 Sterne durchgehend. Berechtigt. ---------------- Der Aufbau dauerte vielleicht 3 Minuten. Damit es keine Sauerei gibt, hat Hot Wheels natürlich an Wasser-auffang-behälter gedacht. In den Wassertank oben kann warmes Wasser eingefüllt werden. In das untere Wasserbecken kann kaltes Wasser eingefüllt werden. Auch hier wurde an eine integrierte Trennwand für Eiswürfel gedacht. Die Waschanlage wirkt, wie von HW gewohnt, hochwertig und langlebig. Der Aufzug wird von Hand angekurbelt und kann auch rückwärts genutzt werden. Oben angekommen fährt das Auto nach einer kleinen Kurve in ein Wasserauffangbecken. An dieser Stelle kann man nun bei Bedarf den oberen Wassertank aufdrehen und wie bei einem normalen Wasserhahn läuft das Wasser perfekt über das Auto. Durch eine Art Sieb, welches gleichzeitig als Schienenzwischenstück dient, kann das Auto danach weiterfahren und durch die großen Bürsten "gewaschen" werden. Darauf folgt eine Weiche. Nun kann man entscheiden, ob man nach einer "Lappen-Bürste" ins kalte Wasser fahren möchte oder versucht unbeschadet am Hai vorbei zu kommen. Die Waschanlage kann man natürlich mit anderen Bahnen und Schienen verbinden. Hier wird die Waschanlage täglich bespielt (nicht nur vom Kind) und mit den anderen Sets verbunden.
