Works great!
I've been using this fan since 2018 on my wood stove. We heat almost entirely with the wood stove. It's fantastic. Just keeps running year after year and it really moves a lot of air. We have a small home and it works better than the blower that came with the stove (it's also quieter and obviously uses no power).

Makes SUCH a difference!
Living in northern Vermont yields some very cold weather, wind, snow & very poorly insulated houses, which is precisely our problem. We'd been looking to purchase one of these fans for several months & finally jumped on it after seeing one at a friend's house on their gas stove. They LOVED there's, had it for several years without incident & said the fan really does make a huge difference. We are so thrilled with this little fan; it works SO well, whirring right along, moving all that cold air that comes in right around across the stove for an outpouring of so much warmth, pushing it throughout the house & reaching even the coolest areas. KICKING ourselves for not buying one earlier in the season! NO noise! Perfect!! I have read reviews about people holding tinsel & paper in front of the fan and not seeing any movement, which I think is either one of three things; either your fan is broken, misplaced on the stovetop (directions tell you exactly where to place it) or simple ignorance. If you want to SEE movement, don't hold your paper or tinsel or tissue directly in front of that fan, hold it to the outer sides of the fan where the blades are actually moving the air from & wait until your fan is really whirring (stovetop temp 450-650 degrees). If you can't feel the warmth moving across the stovetop, you're doing something wrong or your fan is broken. I also don't think that this is overpriced. We're saving on electricity, we're heating the whole house, the tornado of a fan we had plugged in before did nothing but cool the stove down & keep the house nice & cold in the morning when the fire had died down with the electric fan still blowing across it. This little guy keeps going & has made the most tremendous difference in heating our 1800 sq foot, very poorly insulated home. We have a big pot of water on the opposite side of the stove, too to help with humidity & the fan helps disperse the water vapors more, too, which also adds to the warmth & comfort level. SO should have gotten one sooner!! If this guy quits on us, we'll definitely be back for another one. Seriously a great product!

ECO FAN AIRMAX
These are the best, basically you get what you pay for. I bought 2 other off brands 1/3 of price and they stop working after 3 months. This model is what most wood stove dealers sell, priced more but no issues. Read the reviews and made my purchase.

Great Idea, works as advertised, let's see how long it lasts
Quality built and packaged this nice looking accessory will not move volumes of air but it runs for nothing and looks nice doing it. I have a large quality wood burner so overheating is not an issue. Using the latest formula of extruded Blazers (get them from Costco or Home Depot) and you won't get ripped as locals are charging more. They sell by the pallet at highly discounted prices. The wood back to the fan. This fan should be considered by anybody that has the money and anything but the smallest of wood burners as heat is an issue. The one thing that kept that fifth star from popping is the motor is electric and they are by design, not very heat friendly. The energy source is a thermocouple which works off the difference in the heat on the bottom of the unit and the cooler air in the room. The difference makes the juice that powers the motor. I wish there was a all around better way to accomplish this then an electric motor but in that size and price it's quite cutting edge none the less. We'll see about longevity as their warranty is 1 year and they'll replace it as long as you don't send one to them that's fryed from overheating. Gets the hot air away from the wall in a noiseless fashion. DO NOT put directly in front of the flue as that will fry it and it's in the manual. Off to the side is great. I pointed mine at the flue so cool air was getting pulled into the fan and blown off the sides as my flue go out the top. If you use wood get the thermometer amazon offers in the package. I've had one of those for 15 years and all you do is drill the proper size hole through the flue 2' above the top of the stove where it comes out. It slides in and a magnet holds it in there. That way you can monitor flue temps. Remember, this does not mean the surface is that hot but if you maxing out near a 1000f for any length of time you'll probably have issues. I run around 650-700f so that's probably 550 on the top as I have a large stove with thick walls. There manual talks about oven temps but flue temps prevent roof fires and you extrapolate the top temps by duration. RE: Reviews stating would not start by itself. Mu flue temps rise fast as I like to get in the clean burn above 500f quick as it keeps the smoke down. Nobody likes a neighbor with a slow burning smoldering mess as that's how you end up with ashes on your car and a lot of creosote buildup. When the top of the stove was to hot to touch it started up. They say 150f and I think that's about right so wait an hour until the stove exterior is toasty and if it fails it's a legit complaint.

works absolutely amazing for air and warmth movement..a bit pricey but absolutely worth it..our last one lasted almost 20 years and I think we placed it wrong when cleaning stove and possibly burnt it out

Funktioniert seit 2 Wintern ohne Probleme. Absolute Empfehlung.
