Seaguar Tatsu Fishing Line for Casting, & Live Bait, 100% Fluorocarbon, Clear, Multiple Sizes

I recently tried Seaguar Tatsu 100% Fluorocarbon Fishing Line, and I was eager to see if it lived up to the reputation it has in the fishing community. Here’s my honest review based on my experience. Performance: The performance of the Seaguar Tatsu line was impressive. It provided excellent sensitivity, allowing me to feel even the slightest bites. During a recent fishing trip, I was able to detect subtle nibbles that I would have otherwise missed with standard monofilament lines. Quality: The quality of the Tatsu line is outstanding. It is constructed from 100% fluorocarbon, which makes it incredibly durable and resistant to abrasions. After several outings, the line showed no signs of fraying or wear, even when fishing in rocky areas. Value for Money: Priced at a premium compared to some other fishing lines, I believe Seaguar Tatsu offers great value for serious anglers. Its performance and durability justify the price, especially for those who prioritize quality gear. For example, I noticed an increase in my catch rate after switching to this line. Pros: - Low visibility: The line is virtually invisible underwater, making it less detectable to fish. - High sensitivity: Excellent feel for bites, which enhances the fishing experience. - Strong and durable: Great resistance to abrasions and breakage, perfect for challenging conditions. Excellent, I put this on a baitcaster and it casts very very smooth. With 12lb test I can cast a weightless fluke with no issues. Highly recommend.

I can only speak for the 6lb line.It surpassed all expectations. I use it on my 2500 spinning reels.It casts so good no line twist at all used it three days in a row.Normaly by the 3rd day with inviza line I would have line twist.Not with this line.It is very expensive but I believe I will not have to change line very often.Time will tell.

Good line just a little expensive

This was pricey but damn I love this line. I was so sick of braid cinching on my bait caster so I ditched it for this. No regrets. It’s tough and smooth as hell with very little memory. Way less bird nesting.

Super thin high quality flouro. Excellent for stealthy saltwater fishing rigs! I’ve been purchasing Seagar Blue and Premier Flouro line for many years. It’s simply the best IMO. When I found this Tatsu line, it looked like it had the same line diameter and strength as Seagar Premier at half of the price. Considering how many Pompanonrigs I tie, that’s a good thing. I used it to tie about 25 Pompano rigs using a Snoot (dropper loop rig with one end cut) as my dropper line. I then place a float on the line and snelled my hooks to the end. One the top end of the rig I used a figure 8 loop to attach the rig to my main line. At the bottom of the rig I tied on a snap swivel to attach a pyramid weight. These rigs are quick and easy to tie and they are super stealthy. I caught a bunch of Pompano and for the most part, they performed very well. I say for the most part because several did break in normal conditions. Yet, some rigs were so strong that I was able to drag in some very large drums and stingrays. The question about durability is still open. Some rigs seemed to break way to easily. I must say that this could be because I did a poor job tying the knot or I simply didn’t lubricate it enough when cinching it tight. I had rigs break in weird ways, but I’ve seen this with even the most expensive lines. Catfish with sandpaper teeth could also compromise the line if they swallowed the hook. Again, this is true even with mono. Amazingly, A few Pompano pros asked me how I was getting so many bites when they weren’t. I pointed them to this line. None of them had ever heard of it. Many asked if I would loan them one of my rigs. One went exclusively to this rig type I er a rig that they had tied and used for many years. It works! So, in synopsis, this line is high quality very stealthy, super thin Flouro line. It not only caught me a lot of fish, I was regularly getting higher quality fish than the people I fished with. Is it better or equal to Seagar Premier? I cannot answer that yet and I don’t know that I’ll go through enough effort to determine this. Realize that when you fish with super light line in saltwater, you’ll get way more bites, but you’ll also break a few off. The breaking strength of a dropper loop rig is known to compromise line strength! In the end, you’ll need to decide if losing a few rigs is worth getting more bites. I highly recommend this line. My only wish is that it came in line strength up to 60#.

Super pricey. It is overpriced but the product is top notch. I utilize an FG knot braid to Flouro and purchased 2 20lb fluoro 500 yd spool, Invizx 20lb which kept breaking when securing the knot I've tied a million times, and then they accidentally sent me 10 lb Sunline Assassin Fluro instead of 20 so I had enough and tossed down money for the Tatsu. Not a knot break yet while tieing my FG knot and its used as excellent leader material only here. I was as happy with an old Seaguar Premium 20lb leader material a few years ago as well.
