TIGI Bed Hard Head Extra Strong Hold Hair Spray, Tan, 10.6 Ounce

I purchased this product after hearing about it on Youtube. I was using another popular product in a yellow can that wig wearers use. This Bed Head Hair Extra Strong Hold Hair Spray is GREAT!!!! It is used for my lace front on my wig. Using it to firmly hold it down. It does a phenomenal job. It also dries really fast which is so important when my time is limited. This spray gives me an all-day hold. First I was using too much. It takes less than the product that I was using before. With the previous product, the lace would sometimes lift before the end of the day. With Bedhead I get an all-day hold from morning until night. I do not sleep in my wigs. However, I am sure with the stronghold that it gives, it would hold another full day. This stronghold hair spray is easily removable when you take off the wig. Just spray water on lace and it pulls right up. It does not damage your edges. What I like is the firm stronghold. Just from experience, when the hairspray dries do not use your hands to continue to hold down. Use a rat tail comb. If not you will see some whiteness. I do not know why that happens but it does. I also use to firmly hold my hair back. No white or flakiness shows up. This is my new hairspray. I love that you do not have to use a lot and it does not turn white. It has a pleasant scent and not sticky. It Holds! I will purchase again and will tell friends and family about this Bed Head.

Wowzer! I didn't think there could be such a huge difference in hairsprays, but I was totally wrong. For years I have just spent $3-$4 on a bottle of firm hairspray and didn't think much more about it. Then I started using Bed Head products (which I love!) and read the reviews on this hairspray and thought I would give it a try. Amazing! First of all, it is SO shiny that there is no need to even use my Bed Head Head Rush because this does the job. I was shocked how shiny and great my highlights looked. Secondly, this stuff holds! When I used it for the first time, I really thought it wasn't doing much and over sprayed. Big mistake. It only takes a small amount so don't go spraying all over like with the cheap hairspray or your head will literally be frozen in place. Lastly, I love how it sprays! Short bursts that I can spray specifically where I need it to create texture and can finger piece my hair. I control exactly how much I use and where it goes. I'm pretty darn sure though that I'm going to need to heat mop the bathroom floor at least once a week. That's the only negative to this hairspray. Some people may find this to be too stiff for them and, for those people, I recommend the other Bed Head hairspray. For those of us with short textured hair that needs some hold, it is absolutely perfect. Highly recommend!!

There’s been a lot of recent discourse on which got2be spray is the best- Lemme tell you this is it👏🏽👏🏽 I don’t personally use hairspray for installs so I can’t speak on that, however this will give you the best melt of your life. I use it as the finishing touch for my bald cap aswell as my lace. Works like the freeze spray but this one lasts longer, is less sticky and the nozzle allows you to get in close and be precise. I also use this when I do the water color method. And no matter how many times you dip the hair or let it soak the lace does not stain and the spray doesn’t budge until you shampoo it. I would say it’s a little to strong to use directly on the hair tho- it’ll just leave it feeling crunchy. Even still it’s a new staple of mine🙌🏽

Best Hairspray for me. It's light not sticky. Finish on dry hair. So dry spray holds all day.

Nozzle is too strong and narrow so you don't get a very good mist. It's more of a spray so it makes it harder to control how much you want to use and can easily spray too much in a area. Does hold hair in place somewhat, not sure if it locks/freezes it as others have stated. I've tried it on curls and it doesn't hold exactly in place after the hair cools down, but much better than any other hairsprays I've tried. It doesn't make your hair a helmet and does a good job of holding. The spray has a sweet scent that isn't too overwhelming, but noticeable. Spray in small amounts as too much will make your hair look gray.

I'm a 56 year old man who is growing his hair out for the first time with the goal of a pony tail. I'm currently in the awkward stage where it is too long to stay in place, but not yet long enough to get the sides of my hair into a pony-tail - hence hair that literally blows in the wind. I read a lot of reviews, and tried this, and I love it! It will hold any hair down firmly in place, keeps a good set for days, and looks totally natural with no smell, sheen, or matting. If one wants to remove/lessen it's hold, just use a gentle picking motion, or rub the hairs together to free things up. No flakes, no mess! Easily comes out in the shower, yet doesn't seem to be impacted by sweat while running or working out. My wife tried it recently, and now is hooked on it as well - for the same reasons. Considering that she has had long hair her whole life, and has used many products to avoid "bad hair days", her endorsement speaks volumes. She is going to buy a separate can for herself. I'm really impressed with this stuff - a great product at a great price!

I use this in conjunction with Tigi Bead head B styling wax. I interpret the wax as being a styling product while this hair spray is a holding product. I actually have to use very little to get my desired effect. I start by using the wax to style my hair. Once I get the desired effect, I use the hair spray to get hold. When using the spray, I hold the bottle at arm's length and use very short, light bursts. It works extremely well. The application is far superior to the Aqua Net I used in the '80s? remember that stuff? Where you used to make a cloud of hair spray for your hair to marinate in for five minutes before having to clean the whole bathroom? I give this five stars. I haven't used hair product in over 20 years, and I was lucky to find a good product on my first foray back into the market. The only suggestion I would make to the manufacturers is that "Bed Head" is a horrible name for this product. The only reason I waited so long to try it is because I thought a "messy bed head" was a new style trend that would quickly go the way of JNCO jeans, Zubas, and the mullet. Turns out, it's just a brand name. Whodathunkit?

About 10 or so years ago, it seemed that overnight, hairspray was no longer hairspray - it would not HOLD anything in place anymore. I have been looking for some hairspray that actually holds hair in place. This DEFINITELY does that. If you are looking for some spray glue in a can like I was, this is the dream hair spray for you! And, miraculously, the nozzle has not clogged on this. If you want great hold but not quite glue like, this works too, just be careful to use just a little. If you don't want a super firm hold though, this is not for you. You can't just run your fingers or a brush through your hair after using very much of this. However, once you use if you do can brush through it (carefully so you don't rip the hair out of your head!) it lets your hair look very natural but continues to hold in the shape you sprayed it pretty well. I like to use it very lightly overall for flyaway hairs, and then more liberally at the side of my head by my ears where I'm combing my hair back in the opposite direction that it grows. Works great.
